Hi after spending some time reading previous threads on this site I’m looking for some reccomendations.

In the early stages of planning a trip for 2025.

Myself and non hunting partner. Looking for the possibility of a 7 day (could do longer if required) trip.

Unsure of country open to reccomendations.

I was hoping I could find an outfitter that could cater for us the whole stay , possibility of myself hunting mabye 2 or 3 days for any plains game, I wouldn’t be able to import any taxidermy so management animals preferred over trophy.

My partner doesn’t hunt so would hope for fairly nice accomodation Mabye with a pool that she can relax while I was out.

And the other days safari with partner but just to see the animals and possibility of sightseeing anything that’s close(ish) to the property.

Would like to be able to eat different species or Mabye some of any successful hunt?

Is this type of trip posssible?

Thanks

Simple answer is yes, absolutely.

Others will have recommendations; sponsor outfitters will have offers. I highly recommend @GAME 4 AFRICA SAFARIS . I guarantee they can provide all of that. As far as accommodations, have a look at their website or click on my hunt reports; I am pretty sure I have photos of the lodge.

Best of wishes in your planning.

Very possible. Don't worry. You will get some offers from outfitters sponsors soon.

I would also recommend your partner to take good photo camera, and spend some time on a tree blind over a waterhole. Opportunities for great photography will be there. South Africa or Namibia.

Good day! I've sent you a PM.

You’ve got a bunch of different options depending on your budget. Most any outfitter can accommodate, it depends what you want to see and how much you’re willing to pay. You could also combine multiple countries.

South Africa
Namibia
Zimbabwe

Would be my suggested starting points and you can base the tourist activities around the country then find an outfitter to work with for your couple hunting days.

Hi @Tango76

I can offer you what you’re looking for!
I’ve send you a PM

Cheers
Dieter

There are hundreds of outfits that will meet you requirements.. My wife traveled with me to RSA constantly before she passed - we went once a year minmum just so she could sity by the pool and go shopping - yes.. shopping! The RSA women ALWAYS know where to go shopping!!

One note - take her once and you will never go alone again!!!

ANY of the ph’s on here will be able
To accommodate your desires. I recommend hunting with someone for afew days and having them give you a tour of one of the many animal viewing parks or Victoria falls or something similar. Hot air balloon rides. Bungee jumping, horseback trips, wine tours, foliage tours etc etc. it’s all there, just shop around. I agree strongly with tundra tiger but really the folks on here know how to cater to tourists and hunters!

Have them pick you up at the airport, chauffeur you to their very nice lodges, rent you a rifle and help you get some cool trophies (even the culls are cool) cook your meat on an open fire while you enjoy beverges by a nice fire at night. Laundry washed and folded for you every night. Your partner should do no work! Then have them roll you around their favorite cheetah rescue or lion park or a really wild (sort of) animal photography park. It’s all part of the daily grind for a good ph. They will take good care of you and have some suggestions of their own

I'm unfortunately on a diet. Presently in VA hospital as Agent Orange finally caught up with me. Cancer and I no longer can speak. If all goes well I'll be out of here and back home in Thailand by end of July. Tough road but I'm a tough old guy. I'll make it that hunt.

Nice one there. I guided for mulies and elk for about 10 or so years in northern New Mexico.

Business is the only way to fly. I'm headed to SA August 25. I'm hoping that business isn't an arm and a leg. If you don't mind, what airline and the cost for your trip. Mine will be convoluted. I'll be flying into the states to pick up my 416 Rigby as Thailand doesn't allow firearms (pay no attention to the daily shootings and killings) so I'll have 2 very long trips.
