New lady hunter from the PNW!

:S Welcome:

Welcome aboard, M'Lady. Love it when the ladies get involved and join us.

Welcome! I find it great to hear about couples that hunt together - it's a rarity.
My wife and I hunt together however it was SHE that got me into hunting as I was the city guy that married the farmer's daughter.
Again, welcome!

Welcome and I am sure your questions will be answered.

Hello Victoria D,

Khomas Highland Hunting Safaris of Namibia, welcomes you to the greatest forum on earth.

Best Regards,
Velo Dog.

Victoria D, welcome to the AH forum! Good for you going along and hunting! Your husband is a lucky guy!
I’m sure his experience will guide you, but I would like to start with a suggestion...
Learn to get on sticks, take care aim and fire in one smooth motion within 5 seconds. Most of Africa’s game won’t hang around long. If you hunt from a blind, ignore my suggestion.(y)

Hi and welcome to the forum!

We would love to host you and your husband for this very special hunting trip!
Please send me a private message with details if you would like us to send you a quote.

Have a great day and good luck with all the research.

Kind regards
Natasha

@Victoria D Welcome and feel free to ask any questions not matter how daft they may seem. I now I have asked my own fair share of stupid questions and still do from time to time. You wont find a more welcoming bunch of people

G’day

Greetings all! I’m new to the site and to Africa hunting in general- my husband has been talking about going back to SA since his trip in 2016 so I’ve suggested a return for our 20th anniversary in 2021. And, being that I do not do well just sitting around and he’s my best friend, I’m going to be a hunter and not just an observer!!
So- Im here to listen, learn and ask questions. Glad to be here and excited to plan this adventure!
Victoria

Hello and welcome!

Welcome aboard Victoria. The "search" function on AH is your friend. Many subjects / topics have been discussed at length and often on multiple occasions over time. There are what I would consider "subject matter" experts on AH that will be more than happy to help you. What caliber rifles do you use in the States? What are you planning on hunting in Africa? BTW it is always nice to have hunters from the "fairer sex" joining our ranks.

:S Welcome:

Sir, I will gladly take that 16 gauge off your hands. I was waiting for your Winchesters but I'm a sucker for a 16 ga.

I bought a great deal of the brass he had for sale, plus I already had many hundred rounds.

How much brass are you looking for?
