      You are in our thoughts and prayers.
      Keep us posted how it is going with your daughter.
      Tell her we wish and pray for her speedy recovery after surgery.

    • Bow
    • Shotgun
    • Handgun
    • Muzzleloader
    My preferred optic(s):
    Scopes-Any with good coatings and adequate eye relief for the cartridge. 2-7 or 3-9 are plenty good for most big game. I use a Burris Eliminator for antelope and prairie dogs.
    Binoculars-what ever is appropriate for the ranges, but these days I really enjoy light weight 8x32 compacts to carry in the mountains or dark timber.
    Spotting scope-currently I like carrying a Vortex 15-33x...light and compact and I can clarify anything I can get to in a couple of hours.
    Gear I cannot live without:
    Map and compass (I also usually carry a GPS, but nothing beats old school for reliability)
    My best hunting tip:
    Be tenacious and don't give up until the last light of the last day.
    My other interests:
    Fishing, use to mountain bike (Moab, Fruita, etc), backpack (walked 56 miles in 2 1/2 days across the Weminuche Wilderness, over 75 trips of 2 to 21 days), , bike tour (Italy, France, Netherlands, Belgium, Tasmania, New Zealand), kayak fish, oh and life...it's a wonderful thing to enjoy!
