I'm planning a group safari for 2027 and would like to get information and package options from outfitters.
We are specifically looking for large properties or free-range areas, and are not interested in small properties with internal fences.

Group Details

  • Hunters: 5 confirmed, possibly 2 additional
  • Observers: 1 child (age 6 at the time) and 1 adult, with the possibility of a few more
  • Two bow-focused hunters, the rest rifle
  • Looking for a 7–9 day hunt
What I’m Looking For

For myself (bow-focused):

Eland (top priority), gemsbok, wildebeest, springbok, kudu, warthog, and possibly sable.
Ideally looking for a package that includes most or all of these species, with the main goal being an old eland with a bow.
Open to input on whether this is realistic in one bow-focused trip.

For the rest of the group:
A package centered around kudu, gemsbok, blesbok, impala, and springbok—something they can build on.

Please include:

  • Any additional fees from airport pickup to drop-off
  • Observer rates
  • 2027 deposit, cancellation, and payment schedule details
Bowhunting Questions

  • Do you have a PH who specializes in bowhunting or who bow hunts themselves?
  • Any bow-hunting restrictions I should be aware of?
Camp & Logistics

  • How do you typically handle observers and young children? Any day activities or options for them?
  • Will our group have the camp to ourselves, or do you host multiple groups at once?
  • How many hunters/observers can you accommodate?
  • Are cull animals available?
  • Can an observer decide to shoot an animal?
  • Is limited participation in skinning/caping allowed?
  • Are Big Five sightings possible on your properties or nearby?
  • Recommended 2027 dates for good bowhunting conditions for these species?
Thanks in advance to the outfitters who reply—looking forward to gathering info and planning this hunt.

We will send you a proposal in a direct message. Please keep an eye out for our message in your inbox

Looking forward to hearing from you and sharing our passion and continent with you!

Good day @campjak1 ,

We would certainly be able to suit your needs on a large property with no internal fences. It's a mere 2.5 Hour drive from Johannesburg International Airport and the property is adjacent to a Big 5 Nature reserve which we also have access to.

I'll send you a dm with all the details.

Kind regards,
Rouan Nel
