Friendswoodmatt here-- nice to meet you

friendswoodmatt, there are a lot of AH members in the Houston area. Keep your eye out for them. some of the guys get together for lunch on occasion. I'd bet they'd love to have you join them.

Welcome to AH.
PM sent.
Sincerely
Hans

Welcome to AH.
People either use no time or no money as an “excuse “ to not go to Africa. Now that you’re retired, time isn’t an issue, so I hope you have a lot of money because Africa is addictive!
Your first safari will be a great start to your retirement. Have fun on this site.

I know that image of the Buff you've seen everyday, and it is an impressive example, and you will see reports here that similar hunters have achieved just that.

Welcome aboard!

Welcome to AH sir!

All the best with planning your safari! Will send you a PM with more info.

Kind regards
Hendrik

Yup. We’d be more than happy to advise and corrupt!

Several of us also belong to PSC, which happens to be in......Friendswood!

Hello and welcome!

Welcom To AH, you will get everyting you are looking for on AH. Enjoy the ride, your Safari has starterd.

I was a member of PSC and let it lapse after all the ongoing classes-- etc it took to keep it-- I regret that to some extent now-- I was member 3680 something. Mostly shooting country doubles and skeet and trap -- at the time as I was still severely bitten by the fishing bug -- Sold all the boats and now I am in a hunting mode. I want to do africa, maybe some sheep (marco polo if fitness allows) new zealand, and a big water buff in australia I think -- not sure-- plus some bird hunts. Dad died at 60 so I gotta make hay....

Good Day Friendswoodmatt.

Welcome to AH.Enjoy and please let me know if I can be of assistance.

Regards

Rouan

Welcome to the African addiction, great place to get started on the road to Africa. Good luck.

Welcome to AH !

Welcome to AH! Your 375 H&H sounds dreamy. Nothing wrong with a .416. A lot of great plains game can be taken with a simple 30-06. Africa will sink its hooks into, just be prepared for it.

Welcome sir glad to have you. First safari is so special. Enjoy! Many super choices here.

Welcome to AH

Hallo Marius- do you have possibilities for stags in September during the roar? Where are your hunting areas in Romania?

I'm about ready to pull the trigger on another rifle but would love to see your rifle first, any way you could forward a pic or two?
Thanks,

Love your rifle! I'm needing a heavier rifle for Africa. Sold my .375 Dakota Safari several trips ago. Would you have any interest in a trade of some sort involving the custom 338/06 I have listed here on the site ( I have some room on my asking price. I also have a large quantity of the reloading components and new Redding dies as well as a box of A-Square Dead Tough ammo.
