I don’t think anyone is proposing a voter ID card. Just show your other identification you already possess?Start with the polling booths and go from there. Maybe the Democrats have a point?![]()

Yes I agree a watermarked state ID or USA passport or passport cardI don’t think anyone is proposing a voter ID card. Just show your other identification you already possess
Would it be your fair assessment that Iran has a vast tunnel system similar to what Hamas did have? I ask because if so, it took IDF ground troops to destroy the tunnels to prevent Hamas from firing missiles and drones at Israel. I fear Iran too (maybe is now) may resort to the same plan as Hamas with regards to how they are continuing to fire missiles and drones despite being heavily bombed. Thanks!Exactly
When they started talking about voter ID being discrimination; Texas countered the nonsense.I don’t think anyone is proposing a voter ID card. Just show your other identification you already possess?
I see one problem with it "being free". Let's say Jane Doe was born in MA, and got married in NY, changed her name after and moved to TX. Never got a passport or anything that proves she is a citizen. When they started talking about voter ID being discrimination; Texas countered the nonsense.
In Texas you can get a state issued “voters ID Card” for free…. It’s an DPS issued ID that is good for any action that requires an ID(other than driving) and is good for 10 years.
I also believe this voter ID card meets the requirements for boarding a plane on domestic flights.
Not like Hamas. Hamas had a primitive, though extensive, rabbit warren underneath Gaza. Iran's network is far more sophisticated. Their weapons storage facilities, launchers, even much of the production is buried in Iran's very mountainous terrain. Their doctrinal battle rhythm is to mate warheads with missiles in these underground depots, then set the missile on its launcher, drive it out of an exit, elevate and launch.Would it be your fair assessment that Iran has a vast tunnel system similar to what Hamas did have? It depends…Do they use conventional jet fighters to drop those penetrators, or bombers?
My distant understanding from the grumblings on Reddit is that people say if you need it to vote, then it should be supplied by the government? Kudos for Texas for getting out ahead of that argument. When they started talking about voter ID being discrimination; Texas countered the nonsense.

Based on previous engagements the initial estimates are usually low.I saw an article today that stated this offensive against Iran has a cost over $11 trillion so far,? That seems pretty steep. I don't know the accuracy of that report.
That's almost a third of the current national debt.
Actually any U.S. Born citizen can walk into a social security office and they will print you out a document that lists every name that has been used.I see one problem with it "being free". Let's say Jane Doe was born in MA, and got married in NY, changed her name after and moved to TX. Never got a passport or anything that proves she is a citizen.
She has to figure out how to get a copy of her birth certificate from MA, and pay for it. She has to figure out how to get a copy of her marriage license from the county she got married in NY and pay to get it.
After she goes through all that then she has to present those documents to prove citizenship and get the ID.
I can see why people say it is a poll tax as people are paying to be able to vote.
Now, I agree that only legal citizens should be able to vote, but the same people advocate for this are also against a National ID card that is required in every other country.

The Real drivers license is essentially a national ID, the management of issuance is handled by the states. Same with state issued ID cards; they are recognized in every other state, just like a DL. Can't imagine the cluster***k it would be if it was managed by the feds. It's bad enough with the states in charge.I see one problem with it "being free". Let's say Jane Doe was born in MA, and got married in NY, changed her name after and moved to TX. Never got a passport or anything that proves she is a citizen.

Why can't she use the same REAL ID that she needs to board an airplane?I see one problem with it "being free". Let's say Jane Doe was born in MA, and got married in NY, changed her name after and moved to TX. Never got a passport or anything that proves she is a citizen.

Not everyone has REAL ID or fly. I have employees that don’t and have not flown for decades. Why can't she use the same REAL ID that she needs to board an airplane?
