Hunted
Senegal, Cameroun, Namibia, South Africa, Poland, Scotland, Spain, Portugal and Argentina
Hi everybody.
French hunter. Sorry nobody's perfect...my English too.
Hunter from my birth and in love with Africa for 50 years when an old neighbour told me his life in West Africa just after the first world war.
I had changed the direction of my professional career in order to live in Africa. I spent 17 years in different coutries like Gabon, Congo, Cameroun, Nigeria, Angola.
Now retired, I hunt every year in Senegal.
I already went to South Africa for hollydays first then for hunting in 2011. I hunted as well in Namibia.
In my country I hunt mainly wildboars and roe deers, sometimes red deers. I hunted them in Scotland, Poland Spain and Portugal.
I'm planning to hunt again in South Africa. Plain games only. I would like to go again at the same place with the same PH but I lost the coordinates when my smartphone has been stolen. If somebody know Lieb Duraan he can contact me by this site.
Congratulations for the creator of the site. I spend more and more time here. Very interresting.

Bienvenue sur AH houlotte! Glad to have a fellow Frenchman on the site! Looking forward to getting to know you.

Welcome!!!

Sounds like you've had some great experiences in Africa besides just hunting.

Welcome to AH.:S Welcome: Glad to have you.

I don't know anything about hunting in Senegal. What animals do you normally hunt there. Do you have any photos or stories you can share about Senegal.

All the best.

Welcome to a world of hunters.

Good find Phil.

Welcome to AH houlotte.

Welcome! We would love to hear your stories from the amazing adventures you've had. Pictures would be great too!

Welcome to AH houlotte! Enjoy the site I hope you find the PH and outfitter your looking for.

Welcome to the site. Glad to see a Frenchman here. I have walked many miles through the 1, 4, 6 and 5th arrondissements checking out jewelry and antique shops, but especially the Louvre, on many visits there. Paris is by far my favorite big European city. It sounds like you already have many hunting reports you can teach and entertain us with!

Bonjour et bienvenue, houlotte. Je voudrais entendre parler de vos aventures au Sénégal.
:S Welcome:
Pictures and some tales of hunting in France would be awesome as well! (y)
And your english as actually quite good :)

welcome to AH
love to hear about hunting in segal
good luck finding your lost P.H, looks like phil is all over it ......

Thanks a lot for your welcome messages.

Yes, Ingwe is the site in relation with Lieb Du Raan. Many thanks.
I found pictures with me. One with a wharthog and one with 2 common sprinkbucks.
I have good memories because he ask me the first day how I would like hunting. We hunted without vehicle, walking everytime. The vehicle droped us somewhere and we called the driver when we need to load an animal or at the end. I don't want to to bring back trophies. Pictures are now enough for me. I appreciate to hunt like we use to do in France but at the cost of culling.

Ok I will open a topic about Senegal where we hunt exclusively warthogs.

Had an excellent classifieds transaction with JoninCO. A truly honest and standup member. I wouldn't hesitate at all to deal with him again. Thanks, J!

Hi Lance, Hope you well. I collect Mauser rifles and they are very much part of my cultural history in Africa. Would you consider selling the rifle now a year on ? I'd like to place it in my collection of Mauser rifles. Many thx

I saw where you hunted elephant with backcountry safaris in Zimbabwe.
Was looking to book an elephant hunt and wanted to know how your hunt went
and if you would recommend them.

Thanks
Mike
hi, do you know about lions hunters, leopard hunters, and crocodiles hunters of years 1930s-1950s
I'm new to Africa Hunting. I would like to purchase a Heym 450-400 double rifle. I'm left-handed but would prefer a non-canted gun. Is anyone in the community considering parting with theirs?
