New Member from Tennessee

Welcome to AH and the posting side Evan! This forum has a wealth of information from some extremely knowledgeable folks, enjoy!

Hello, I am a 19 year old looking to learn more about this special tradition. My dad is an avid member of the AH community, so I want to follow in his footsteps. I am hoping, as a part of the younger generation, to learn as much as I can to help continue hunting, conserving, and protecting Africa. Last year, I was lucky enough to go to Limpopo for my high school graduation present. It was hands down the most life changing experience I have ever had. White-tail bow hunting dwindles compared to the adrenaline rush of a warthog hunt. I dream about going again someday, but until then I wish to educate myself more on the world of safari hunting and look forward to hearing how the younger generations can help get involved.

Quite belated, but welcome to AH nonetheless!

Welcome to AH Evan. We’ll be exhibiting at the NWTF Convention in Nashville from 13-15 February. If you’re at the show please stop by our booth for a chat, would be terrific to meet you.

welcome to AH and the African hunting addiction. I can't believe your dad is such an enabler(y).

I admit it. I am an enabler. However, is it wrong to use one’s offspring in order to increase one’s opportunity to get back to the Dark Continent? I think not.

I can promise you that if he was into Post-Impressionism art, he would be totally on his own!

Good Afternoon,
How firm are you on your Dakota 416? I am highly interested but looking at a few different guns currently.

Best,
BJ

I have a Chapuis 450-400 double that looks brand new and shoots well, never been hunted from what I can tell. I am willing to part with it as I have a 375 H&H Sodia on it's way from Dorleac & Dorleac. I am looking for $9,250 for it and if you are interested, I am happy to send you some pictures. Regards,
Steve
