A Great Outfitter, Person and Friend Lon Denny Has Passed

Lon, will be missed for sure.
His pain is at least gone and we know he is enjoiyng it out there with a big bore in hand after big tracks.

Very sorry to hear it. I never met him in person but never knew anyone with a bad word about him. He will be greatly missed.

May he be in a better place...
Rest in peace great hunter.

Prayers for the family! He was a great contributor to the AH community!

May God/Allah grant his heaven/Jannat. He was such a friendly man and we enjoyed many excellent conversations about double rifles, Kukri knives, guinea fowl potjie & so many other things over the years.

I don't really know what happens to us after we pass away, but I do know that the ones who love us... will miss us.

thanks for your reply bob , is it feasible to build a 444 on a P14/M17 , or is the no4 enfield easier to build? i know where i can buy a lothar walther barrel in 44, 1-38 twist , but i think with a barrel crown of .650" the profile is too light .
