Very sorry to hear this sad news, condolences to family and friends, sounds like LON was well respected, let's hope he's in the great plains in the heavens with a smile. Thoughts and prayers.
Very sad news. Rest in peace. Never met Lon in person but traded some messages with him on several occasions and appreciated him taking the time to share some interesting stories with me. He will be missed by all I’m sure.
May God/Allah grant his heaven/Jannat. He was such a friendly man and we enjoyed many excellent conversations about double rifles, Kukri knives, guinea fowl potjie & so many other things over the years.
I don't really know what happens to us after we pass away, but I do know that the ones who love us... will miss us.
thanks for your reply bob , is it feasible to build a 444 on a P14/M17 , or is the no4 enfield easier to build? i know where i can buy a lothar walther barrel in 44, 1-38 twist , but i think with a barrel crown of .650" the profile is too light .
hey bob , new on here. i specifically joined to enquire about a 444 you built on a Enfield 4-1 you built . who did the barrel and what was the twist and profile specs ? look foward to your reply . cheers
