I have hunted once in SA for buffalo and I think it is time to return for a plains game hunt, this time accompanied by a friend of mine who archery hunts. Neither of us is particularly worried about trophy size, we would like to shoot mature animals and have a fair chase experience. I would most likely hunt with a rifle and he might prefer a bow. We would each like to pursue 4-6 plains game animals, (warthog, impala, bushbuck, blesbok, springbok, hartebeest, zebra, wildebeest, perhaps kudu depending on the price, or some combination of the previous species). We are both in decent physical shape and would hope for a hunt involving some stalking/tracking, though he realizes that archery hunting will likely involve sitting on waterholes. We would be happy to harvest old animals past their prime if this made the hunt more affordable. Wee would likely want to go sometime during the summer of 2026.
Please let me know if you have some suggestions or a hunt to offer that fits the above description.
Thank you for your time, Ferenc

Hi Ferenc,

We’d be glad to assist. We have dedicated bow and rifle hunting areas with all the plains game species you’re interested in, and can tailor the hunt to suit both you and your friend. Sent you a PM with more details.

I second the endorsement of Karoo Wild Safaris, but don't know if they handle bowhunters. I don't remember waterholes in the Karoo Mountains where we hunted. I think Karoo Wild has expanded to other countries since I hunted with them in 2016.

Good day Sir

Please have a look at my website www.divansafaris.com as we do bespoke safaris all around Namibia with our home base in the east of Namibia with hunting area of more than 60 000 acres of hunting grounds.
We strive for ethical and fair chase hunting, you're hunt your camp.

Looking forward hearing from you.

Yours truly
Divan

If your focus is on the experience rather than trophy size, you’ll have a lot of good options. Many outfitters in Eastern Cape and Limpopo specialize in fair-chase plains game hunts that balance rifle and bow setups well. You can usually customize a package with 4–6 animals like impala, warthog, blesbok, and wildebeest at a reasonable rate.

Check out the cyprus gross salary calculator on the PUNIN GROUP website — a helpful tool for estimating net income after taxes, social insurance and healthcare contributions in Cyprus.
Totally agree — focusing on the overall hunting experience makes the trip far more memorable than chasing trophy size. The Eastern Cape is a great choice for variety and terrain, but I’d also suggest checking the Free State or Namibia if you want wide, open stalking opportunities and fair pricing. For mixed rifle and bow hunts, look for outfitters that specifically mention dual setups — some have separate blinds for archery while still offering spot-and-stalk rifle hunts on the same property. Going for older, past-prime animals is also a great way to keep costs reasonable while keeping the spirit of fair chase alive.

Sir, I think I have been writing to you about the purchase of the HK 639 rifle under an email "Tt Jake." If this is you, then I am truly interested. I am just trying to verify identify. Tt Jake is asking for a cash transaction. No disrespect intended, Just trying to verify who I am talking to. Thank you. Respectfully. Dan

Hey my friend, I am returning to SA for a Cape Buffalo hunt in June 26. My outfitter has suggested Highveld but I have read some poor reports. Wondering how satisfied you were with your mounts from them? Thanks in advance.
Finally back to somewhat normal I missed reading the messages and posts
