SCI Convention 2026 - Who Is Joining Me?

May I get the thread/link to the AH get together from @rarebreed? My wife and I will be attending but, only for 3 days. I want to see if we are there when it occurs.
Also, I'm hoping to bid on a few of the safaris while we are there but, this is our first time, I've never done it. Does anyone have ideas or helps? Thanks!

My wife and I will be attending. We have found staying in Brentwood is relatively inexpensive and the drive in avoids all interstates. US 31 becomes Franklin Road which becomes 8th Ave which runs alongside the Music City Center. The savings make the 20 minute drive a bargain.

Hotel is booked, convention tickets for Friday and the AH dinner Friday night.

We are going to visit downtown on Saturday and headed to the Opry Saturday night.

I fly in to Nashville Tuesday evening and leave Sunday morning. Plan to hit the floor all four days.
Probably running solo, but may be able to entice the gf away. Nashville is so much fun and the convention is the cherry on top.
For you seasoned veterans, which evening event do you recommend? I plan to be at the AH gathering, but beyond that. And note, I’m a 3rd class feller in a first class world.

Some nice restaurants in Nashville.
Although if I never see another bachelorette party , I’d be ok with that.

Philip do you know if tickets to the convention can be purchased for Thursday and Saturday? Or even Wednesday, Thursday, and Saturday? Skipping Friday.

And can tickets be purchased at the door by the day? Gina really only wants to attend a day or two at the most. Can she attend the evening events without attending the convention that day?

Yes you can buy 1-4 day passes and you get to choose the days. Neat new feature it seems! You do not have to have the day pass to attend the banquet in the evening. Just present your banquet ticket.
The Thursday night event at the Ryman will be awesome and will sell out soon. Don't miss it!

Do you know if SCI has published the program with a list of vendors and booth numbers?

It will be coming out but watch for the SCI Convention app, that will be your first and best option. I do not think that the full list is available in print until you get to Nashville.

I have had four members ask if there wife’s to be a member to attend SCI and the answer is no. When you buy your passes online you go first buy say the four day pass as an example, they will use your membership you then have the opportunity to add a spouse/partner for how many days they want let’s say two in this example. They will use your membership to qualify her

Doesn’t have to be a wife or partner. You get one guest. Could be a buddy or sibling.
