Welcome! What part of "The People's Republic of California" are you from? I have a friend that is about an hour south of Reno and he has quite a few critters running around his place, including black bears.

I have a @Von Gruff knife waiting for me when I get back to the state later this week.

Southern Cal. in a small town in the High Desert on the edge of the San Bernardino National Forest.

Over 775,000 acres of mountainous terrain up to over 11,000 ft. in elevation. Pretty good Bear and Deer hunting.
