Kudu Pictures

Thanks for story, I almost booked with Dries Visser 2 years ago at SCI in Reno, but went with Bushmen bowhunting safaris father north in Limpopo.
dries runs a profeesional outfit , no worries there .
if anything its a tad too luxurious for me , but we had lots of fun , and great , ethical hunting.
id like to go back there someday ,

58 inch kudu is a trophy of a lifetime , mate
even sweeter with trad gear and self made arrows ,
but hell sunshine , wheres the rest of the details , you know the rules , fill in all the blanks ......

that other poor soul is a big trophy to many people too .....

I was hunting with Diekeiler and we set up my pop up blind on a water trough for cattle and left it alone for a day and then set it and this bull came in and gave and gave me a 14 yard shot. I hit him through the heart, my first african animal! I didn't know what i had until Fredric the PH said how lucky I was. I also took a blue wildebeest and a warthog.

More Greater Kudu from Namibia… Enjoy!

Jerome, it looks like you get your clients dialed in on some nice kudu!

Last day of my hunt at 05:30 PM, losing light fast.
This was an old bull. We saw better this day, but all were young and the concession was saving them - as they should.
This was really the only clean shot I had at a Kudu all week and that my PH gave me the OK to shoot. Now he presented me other great opportunities, but I didn't have the right angle, couldn't see it or whatever other excuses I had ....
So on this one I had a clear but small opening in the brush - tip of the right front shoulder, quartering towards me and the sun was at my back! I couldn't even see the horns, but my PH gave me his guarantee he was a bull.
DRT - yea, no tracking!
Great finale to a great week.

I have no idea the shipping cost from here to Costa Rica. I can do my research on shipping and get back with you later today.
