I signed on quite awhile ago and was waylaid with cancer issues. After 2 rounds of chemo I am in remission. Will continue indefinitely with mild maintenance therapy.
I was introduced to hunting after I moved to Forks, Washington to work in the woods in 1972 at the age of 19. Came back to town one day and discovered an acquaintance had been killed from random crossfire elk hunting opening day. Shook me up quite a bit, staying away from hunting for 12 years, or so, until we settled Virginia.
Still have ambitions of an African adventure. Looking forward to the process and meeting y'all.
