I hope everyone is enjoying a nice long weekend....

Have just registered, having referenced the site a number of times over the years.

Plenty of experience in Western Canada as a pro. hunter, USA, Asia & New Zealand have all seen my boot tracks, while carrying rifle of choice, next is Africa.....

Cheers

Welcome! For the finest first African experience, do consider Namibia. What is on your wish list?

Welcome to the forum sir!

Am off to SA in 2 months to the Eastern Cape to sample plains game there. Being lucky enough to be CDN I'm planning on Cheetah/Brown Hyena(booked to go) in Namibia as a primary in 21. Buffalo are high on the list for a friend and I both & I've got the fun job of learning what I can & shopping around as it's his own retirement gift & I hope to to at least look over his shoulder while he's there.
I've had way to much experience dealing with Grizzlies, Grizzly is now closed & I've got the problem of too many shells loaded for my H&H, so Africa it is.....

Welcome aboard goathunter7. Have you been practicing shooting off "sticks?" You mentioned that you had too many shells loaded for your H&H. Just out of curiosity, how many thousand would that be?

Hi again goathunter7,

Way too much experience with grizzlies?
Are you in Alaska ?
Your profile page doesn’t show any background information.
If you’re in Anchorage, or just visiting Anchorage some time, I’d enjoy swapping bear stories.

Best of luck with your Africa plans,
Paul.

Had an excellent classifieds transaction with JoninCO. A truly honest and standup member. I wouldn't hesitate at all to deal with him again. Thanks, J!

Hi Lance, Hope you well. I collect Mauser rifles and they are very much part of my cultural history in Africa. Would you consider selling the rifle now a year on ? I'd like to place it in my collection of Mauser rifles. Many thx

I saw where you hunted elephant with backcountry safaris in Zimbabwe.
Was looking to book an elephant hunt and wanted to know how your hunt went
and if you would recommend them.

Thanks
Mike
hi, do you know about lions hunters, leopard hunters, and crocodiles hunters of years 1930s-1950s
I'm new to Africa Hunting. I would like to purchase a Heym 450-400 double rifle. I'm left-handed but would prefer a non-canted gun. Is anyone in the community considering parting with theirs?
