mountain reebuck , is a fun hunt ,lcq.. you will enjoy that
what no kudu , them guys have got the kudu ,mate ....(y)(y)(y)

Kudu and eland in 2017. Still trying to decide which gun to bring for the 2016 hunt. I just picked up a Thompson Dimension with 270 and 223 barrels. Haven't even shot it yet.

As we used to say in the motorcycle business keep the shiny side up my friend.

Hunting on public land is not allowed, but shooting problem elephant on cattle - or gamefarms still is..

The country is literally swarming with elephant..
That is awesome!!! Do u happen to know if they are importable and if Botswana will issue a cites for them.

There's still plenty of African countries that aren't Southern. I've put in a deposit for Cameroon in 2017 for LDE and roan. I did answer Zambia for the poll though.

No way, wildlife authorities will take whatever ivory the animal has..

I tried to make a cast of "my" ivory but the taxidermist refused to do it without a written permission from wildlife....guess what happened...:(

That's unfortunate, I guess at the end of the day it the experience that matters the most.

Plan on going back to Africa in 2017. Still have not decided where, but I am leaning toward RSA. A bunch of plains game on the list.

I voted Mozambique, but really I haven't a clue at this point.

It looks like South Africa is leading this one. The hunting industry in South Africa is truly thriving and will be for years to come by the look of it.

yup the industry is massive in SA compared to other countries ., but petrus one of the major reasons SA is running away in the lead is the pricing, which i would say has a major influence on this with a lot of SA operators being able to charge a lot less than operators in most other countries on daily rates etc.........

Think I'm going to run this poll until mid November to get a full months of voting. Thanks for the support so far. let you friends know to vote.

I agree with @spike.t on the affordability perspective. Which is fortunate for lunch bucket guys like me as I feel South Africa and Namibia are the only countries listed that I can viably afford to hunt. I hunted in Namibia in 2014, my first trip to Africa, and absolutely loved it. I definitely hope to return some day.

However my next trip will be to South Africa as I would like to focus on kudu, bushbuck and nyala, with a few other pg species added. Hopefully in 2017..... ;)

Looking forward to a trip in the next few years to either Namibia for plains game and Leopard or Zambia for the same thing!

I don't know for me. I have a lot of things on my bucketlist. I am almost leaning towards a sheep hunt possibly for Dall sheep. I will have to see if I can get the right deal.

I doubt I go anywhere in 2016 except to Wyoming, 2017 it might be time to get an Ellie or a Buff, or I just might wait around for a late season leopard hunt and give that a shot!!!

Jake, Sorry to bug you again. I was wondering if you could share a. couple actual pics of this crossbow with me?

Xpedition Archery USED Scrapeline390X Sniper Gray Crossbow XACW1001 - Light Wear - Needs Bolt/Arrow Guide Spring UA5689

If it is in a decent shape, would you be willing to sell it for $100 shipped? IS it missing the retention spring that goes over the bolt?
Thank you Ferenc

Good morning John, I just read your setup procedure for the northstar duplicator ator. I found it very hand and I did learn some things. I have the same machine and I am having a problem i can not figure out and was hoping you could shed some light on the subject.
