With all the confusion and with the consideration that the rifle may not be originally barreled if it's is a 721 vs a 725, it may be best to take it to a reputable gunsmith to find out the best application of sites that fit it. Point-of-aim vs point-of-impact may be (will be) different if it's a custom barreled, as it seems unlikely Remington would leave sights off one so far back. The usual sight used is the long elevated front sight with a simple buck horn style in the back. It may be a case of find what works and what your preference is out of those choices.
As I made absolutely clear in my very first post:

NOTE:
Right, the barrel is not original to the gun.
The barrel is stamped with "APEX MATCH GRADE"
This would have replaced the original Remington barrel upon the gun being converted to the .375 H&H Mag

and so there is no "may not be originally barreled"
Its a fact this gun does not have its original barrel... from what I can find, Remington never used Apex barrels in their production line. Apex barrels were purchased and installed after the gun left their factory
and so the main thing needed here is to pin point the year of the gun (which one person here was actually helpful by providing what likely narrows down the year to the late 1950's) and then to attempt to pin point (if possible) the original sight that was used during that year or era of production ..... but maybe they used the different sights during a certain point in time when transitioning from one style of sight to their new style of sight
