Like several folks here, I have been reading for a while and decided to make myself known.
My girlfriend gave me 10 days in SA for a Christmas present last year, and while it was "without gun", I now have my rollers and hornbills all sorted so I should be much more in tune to the hunt. OTOH, I also have indelibly etched in my mind the imprint in the dust of a nursing lioness...made much more memorable by the lack of rifle
I wish I had a nice picture of something local to show (like Brickburn) but all I have is this little guy. He spent most of the week with me, apparently depending on me to protect him from the big fellas--it worked
There were some nice bucks showing up on the trail-cam though, so I'll take be muzzleloader up next weekend and see if one is foolish enough to walk by in daylight.
