My name is Milan and I seem to be your typical gun nut who likes to hunt also. Only been hunting to Africa once but would love to go again. I have been lurking here for a short time but I liked what I saw and so decided to join.

Welcome! Tell us about your trip, with pics if possible and where you want to go next. See you at DSC??

Welcome!

Pictures and stories are welcome too. :)

+1 on What Royal said!

Welcome to AH Milan! Glad to have you as part of our community.

Alright, start writing. I am much less polite than Royal.

Hope you'll share some of your Africa tales with us.

Welcome to AH.

OK. Sure. Images below.

I'm from Canada so I will not be at DSC. We have our own African Hunting Gazette show here in Calgary but the anti-hunting activists managed to stop the latest two events on this winter's schedule, one in neighboring province. So there may not be one in Jan.

As to the trip:
Went with a friend in April-May 2014 to RSA, Lalapa Safaris. Hunted with the owner/operator Ray Kemp. We had an excellent time. Enjoyed great weather, great countryside, great animals and great hunting.

Welcome to AH Milan! Looks like you have some great trophies!

Welcome to AH.. great trophies taken on your first African hunt!!

Welcome! I don't think we can have too many hunters, especially when spread around the world!

Welcome to AH Milan!!

Thank you all for the warm welcome.

Welcome Milan great trophies and I dig that rifle no the pics (y)

Welcome to AH, nice gun!

CZ550FS in 9.3x62. Absolutely love it. But it does shoot "rainbows" and I'm still getting used to that. Handloading will hopefully make that simpler also. :D

That's what the rifle looked liked from the photos. You just have to work with the rifle to fine tune it.

It shoots fine. I just have to learn where the bullet drops at different distances.

Had an excellent classifieds transaction with JoninCO. A truly honest and standup member. I wouldn't hesitate at all to deal with him again. Thanks, J!

Hi Lance, Hope you well. I collect Mauser rifles and they are very much part of my cultural history in Africa. Would you consider selling the rifle now a year on ? I'd like to place it in my collection of Mauser rifles. Many thx

I saw where you hunted elephant with backcountry safaris in Zimbabwe.
Was looking to book an elephant hunt and wanted to know how your hunt went
and if you would recommend them.

Thanks
Mike
hi, do you know about lions hunters, leopard hunters, and crocodiles hunters of years 1930s-1950s
I'm new to Africa Hunting. I would like to purchase a Heym 450-400 double rifle. I'm left-handed but would prefer a non-canted gun. Is anyone in the community considering parting with theirs?
