I spent a wonderful 5 days in South Africa this past August along with my wife and several other family members. I had a very successful hunt I took 6 animals on my five day hunt. I ended up with an amazimg Impala, Kudu, and warthog. I also took very respectable Gemsbok, Blue Wildebeest, and Zebra. Since my time on this hunt I am trying to find a way to get back to wonderful South Africa.

I hunted the Limpopo region of South Africa with Kuche Safaris, it was a family affair. My father, step mom, sister, brother in law, cousin, another brother in law and my wife and I all went on the trip. It was an unbelievable trip. Attachd are photos of my animals

Welcome to AH Bill Bunn III! Glad you found us but being here will only scratch that itch even more, sorry to say. ;)

Welcome to AH. Take some time and write up a hunt report.

Yep. Africa is like that. She grabs your by the heart strings and then plays hell on the wallet. Just remember, good things come to those who wait. Make a plan for your future adventures, then find a way to fund it. Wait until you can do it right, the way you envision it, and your dreams will be rewarded. We are a society of instant gratification, but patience and planning will insure a great future experience. In the mean time, relive each day of your past hunt. Look at your pictures and make a photo album with comments for each picture, write a journal, and share with others. It will just make your next trip that much more special. Welcome to AH.

Welcome to AH Bill. YEAH it sorta gets in your blood. How many of the rest of your party feel the same way?
Most of us started thing of a return trip on the flight back home. By now you know the drill, i.e. plan and save.

I'm unfortunately on a diet. Presently in VA hospital as Agent Orange finally caught up with me. Cancer and I no longer can speak. If all goes well I'll be out of here and back home in Thailand by end of July. Tough road but I'm a tough old guy. I'll make it that hunt.

Nice one there. I guided for mulies and elk for about 10 or so years in northern New Mexico.

Business is the only way to fly. I'm headed to SA August 25. I'm hoping that business isn't an arm and a leg. If you don't mind, what airline and the cost for your trip. Mine will be convoluted. I'll be flying into the states to pick up my 416 Rigby as Thailand doesn't allow firearms (pay no attention to the daily shootings and killings) so I'll have 2 very long trips.
