Africa: Management Hunt 2028

I'm researching options for plains game hunting in mid-2028. I've hunted in Namibia and would happily return, but other African countries are also of interest (particularly Botswana or Zambia). Ideally, I'd be looking for a two week trip, with 10 days hunting and some other activities to wind down (game parks, sightseeing etc.). I will be the sole hunter although my wife will come along as an observer. Ease of importing a firearm from the UK is an important factor, as I'd like to use my own rifle (.270win or .30-06). I don't have an unlimited budget so a fixed price trip would be good, but potentially with a trophy animal or two added as well. Your advice and recommendations would be very welcome.

We might be able to accommodate you although many things can change towards 2028.

We usually decide on whether we will cull that year or not in May of each year.
The amount of rainfall we received during our summer months (from October 2027 to April 2028) and the amount of grass that we have by May will determine if we will cull that year or not.
So it is difficult to say this far in advance but as a rule of thumb we generally take off about 2 000 animals every year from a population of 6 000 animals.

But like this year we decided not to cull at all as we added 2 extra ranches to our game reserve plus we had lots of rain and have plenty of good grazing. So we needed to increase our numbers to fill up the extra 2 ranches plus our existing trophy hunters will take off enough animals.

So things change from year to year and we have to be very adaptable.

South Africa and Zambia: been hosting UK clients / couples since 1999. Cull Hunts as well as Trophy Hunts, assistance with bringing your rifle is no problem.
