I am looking for recommendations on suppressors for 30-06. I thought I had my mind made up on the SilencerCo Scythe TI. It checks all the boxes. Short, Lightweight, and a brake on the end. I am opening up my search again after reading several reports about them coming apart. I cant say if this is a few or is a common problem but is enough concern I am going to keep looking. Any thoughts or suggestions would be appreciated. Thank you

I have a Scythe TI for my hunting rifles. I have no issues with it and will likely buy another one. Very lightweight and the tone on my .308 is wonderful.

Another option is the Hybrid46M (I have one). It checks your boxes and is multicaliber for anything you might choose to mount it on later, all the way up to .45cal big bores. I run mine on 6mmCM, 30-06 and .375R. You won’t notice the slight (3%?) loss in noise suppression either. I use their ASR mounts as well. I’ve got a number of other cans, half of which are silencerco, but the 46M is my general go to.

I really like my diligent defence enticer s-ti

I don't have any experience with the Scythe Ti, but I have been using the Omega 300 (shown in my profile pic) for about 5yrs now and I really like it. Relatively lightweight, though probably not as light as the Scythe. It also came with the muzzle brake, QD mount, and QD compatible muzzle device. Either way, I would definitely recommend sticking with SilencerCo products due to all the accessories/configurations available. I actually ditched the brake on mine in favor of a solid end cap that brought the noise down another 3-5 dB. I also purchased a 1/2x28 base cap so I can direct thread the suppressor onto my .223 predator rifle.

I too am looking at the SilencerCo Scythe TI, in large part because it is so lightweight. I have an Omega 36, works great, but it is 2x heavier. You'll see me say on this site many times, I'm lazy, I don't need to be carrying any extra weight through the woods!!

I’m using Rugged Alaskan 360TI and Silencerco Hybrid 46M I like both of them for their multi caliber use.

I have a Hybrid 46DT that is excellent.
Also have a AB Raptor 10 back over the barrel suppressor that is also top notch.
Lastly my buddy just picked up a Savage 30 Cal Back Over The Barrel that he says is Awesome.
Consider that the BOB design does not add a bunch of length to the rifle.

TBAC ultra 7 would be worth a consideration. IMO it's the perfect balance of dB reduction, weight, length with a reputable company behind it.

Unknown Suppressors and Airlock Industries are doing some incredible things with 3D printing. What is your primary use of the 30-06? Will you just mount it, and leave on the one rifle, or are you looking at putting it on multiple platforms. I don't think there is a one can is the best answer. I have multiple Q cans, and they each fill a different niche on different rifles. I have shot and listened to a bunch of other ones, and there are a lot of them that will do just fine in reducing to a hearing safe level. Are you looking for super light, hearing safe, QD mount, direct thread... there are so many variable than just "what is the best can" to buy.

What sling studs do those swivels fit ? They look to be quite a bit wider than the standard modern swivels. They may be just what I need for my Remington 30 Express wide swivel studs. Can you measure the pin diameter ?
