What about rice burners? I drive a rice burner.

Oops. It’s made in San Antone.

Maybe I’ll put the Tundra in the garage and put the 911 in the driveway. No one could complain about a 911 in the driveway.
I don't know about that, my coworker lived in that neighborhood and got the HOA letter because his Dodge Ram was parked in the driveway; he responded saying it was made in Mexico so didn't apply.

He received a registered letter from the HOA attorney clarifying that it was indeed classified as an American truck regardless of manufacturing location as well as confirmation of his fines of $100per day and intent to file a lien if the situation was not remediated and fines paid in full within 30days.

Wonder if this is a blockade runner or if the US Navy for some reason does not intercept/turn back chinese owned ships?

View attachment 759699

I can’t reply to the specifics of this ship but the blockade has nothing to do with Chinese ships. The blockade is about ships that loaded in Iran regardless of flag or are known to plan to unloading in Iran.

The entire bible. All 66 books are divinely inspired words of the Holy Spirit. Followers of Jesus Christ and the Christian faith believe in God in three perfect persons. Father, Son and Holy Spirit.

Saying: “I pick and choose the two later Commandments upon which all others are built. Unfortunately God did not publish. He left it to men who are by nature imperfect.” Is very dangerous ground to place your faith on. At the very least it’s a juvenile, and completely forgivable offense. At the very worst, you are impugning the integrity of God (implying he made mistakes in his plan by having man “publish” his perfect word), and there is precedent for this. And it won’t end well for him either.

As expected, moving goalposts. Misdirection. Ignoring certain facts that disrupt a narrative. Selective quoting. Claiming alternate "facts" (that have been proven wrong) and trying to use them as gospel.

Liberal bullshit at it's finest.
As usual from you. You start losing the argument so you resort to childish insults, DARVO, projection, accusations, gaslighting, and outright lies. The only one claiming alternative facts was Kellyanne Conway and the first Trump administration.

Why not move? I’ll agree home and land prices are ridiculous since Covid and that is true for the vast majority of America and I heard Canada as well that’s what printing mass amounts of money and super cheap interest rates will get you.. asset inflation but houses where outrageously priced back in 2003-2005 and you either bought and figured it out or lost your ass from a bad decision a few years later or you waited.
But no person is entitled to live where they want just because they want to live there. Make the money or move. If you want land move to a state or county where it’s affordable. If you want to live in a city then make that move.
Ive met people while working in California that complained about the cost but refused to move when they could have taken a 20-30% pay cut but had twice the house and living improvements.. makes no sense to complain about something they could control.
"Why not move?"...oh I don't need to move, I own my own home. I bought my first home in FL back in 2009 after the market crashed, and my most recent one in 2020 when everyone was losing their minds during COVID. My interest rate is also at rock bottom. It just appears that some folks on here are out of touch with the current housing market situation. And are proposing possible, but non-scalable solutions to it.

"No person is entitled to live where they want"...I never said they were. The main thread discussion wasn't really about the cost, it was about HOAs, and new subdivisions with them being almost unavoidable. Wake County has almost 1.3 million people, and 174 listed 1+ acre parcels. Like I said above, unrealistic and non-scalable solutions.

There are plans for a new archway in Washington DC.

It will be known as the Arch de Triump, and will have a likeness of the President giving his signature thumbs up.

All leftist Karens are scheduled to have a simultaneous aneurysm in 3-2-1! :ROFLMAO: :ROFLMAO: :ROFLMAO: :ROFLMAO:
Maybe once it's built a new democrat president can turn it into a homeless shelter.

And you sir when confronted with facts just pivot like Hillary Clinton and then bring up some nonsense about ....... Blah Blah Blah while adding no context then end with a attempted intellectual quip.

Example "Facts matter Obama deported more people than Trump"

Obama deported more people because the borders were open, if you deport 3.1mil people but let another 7mil in you are just bending statistics to match your opinion while continuing mass illegal immigration...... To benefit your parties congressional & Senate seats.

Just like the Democrats bloviating about "Kids in cages" when Trump is in office, when Obama built the cages and even went around south Texas buying up old resorts and hotels to park them in; not to mention the free flights to the interior of the country under Biden.

Then Texas starts bussing illegals to NYC, Chicago & Martha's Vineyard...... Oh how the sky fell when mayors of sanctuary cities had to deal with the very problem they help create.

Oh and FYI - Obama's step father(Lolo Soetoro) was a thug for GB Senior and was rewarded with oil rights in Indonesia; Obama inherited these making him one of the largest PRIVATE beneficiaries of petroleum in the world.

Judge Joe Brown lays it out best....

The founding fathers emphasized separation of church and state. The present administration's attempts to blend the two would NOT be welcome ... even if the attempts were not so blatantly tasteless and ... stupid.
The entire "Separation of Church and State" argument is based on an 1802 letter from Thomas Jefferson to the Danbury Baptist Association, a group of Churches who were concerned about Government encroachment on the rights of Churches and individuals. The letter explained that the Government was strictly prohibited from interference in Church affairs, but also the religious conscience of individual Christians.

It was NOT a prohibition on Christian activity within Government, as the left would have you believe. We open every session of Congress with prayer, and have Chaplains for this very purpose.

The Constitution places limits on the Government, not Churches or Christians.

The letter can be found here

The new entitlement, victim class claiming people born before them had it so easy. Are the same ones that expect to start out in a $400k house and drive a $60-$120k vehicle.

God forbid if they have to move to an area that suits their skills, means and current economic situation. That includes world wide moves. Do it or shut up.

Or live in the worst dump in their current geographic location. And ride a bike or bus to 2 or 3 jobs. It’s called working your way up. Like the rest of us did.

How about joining the military.

Ask an anthropologist who had it easier. Our grandparents or the lazy, obese basement dwelling whiners.
"Are the same ones that expect to start out in a $400k house"...unfortunately yes because American developers don't build "starter" homes anymore. Please see the link below, the square footage data is at the bottom.

The data only goes back to 1999, but in the past 25+ years the amount of SFH built under 1400 SF has been cut in half. In 1970 the average new build was 1500 SF. Go back a few decades, and in 1950 more than 50% of new homes built were under 1000 SF, with almost 70% under 1500 SF. I know plenty of folks that would like to buy a small 2/1, or 2/2. They just don't build those anymore. Plus the existing ones are being expanded or torn down, so the total supply is fixed...with an increasing population. Remind me again, what the laws of supply and demand say about what happens when supply is fixed but demand still increases?

Even the smallest new build attached townhome by me are 1424 SF. The smallest SFH is 1850. Google this problem and read some of the data and issues behind it.

Out of touch with reality! I suppose next you’ll be trying to convince us that Mexico’s crime rate is less than ours! Not all illegal immigrants are criminals but if you don’t think they commit more crime than Americans per capita, you’re out of touch. Their countries of origin are riddled with crime but yet when they come to the USA, they are suddenly pure as the driven Canadian snow? Give me a break! Have you even travelled to Mexico and Central America outside of tourist destinations?
I guess me and the government of Texas and a long list of academic institutions are all out of touch with reality.

Sure glad I have people like you and Trump to bring me back.

Well played sir!

There are HOA's in Plano Texas that prohibit American made trucks/pickups from being parked visibly in your driveway.......

You can own them, you just can't have one visibly parked in your driveway and it must be "stored out of sight when not in motion."
"There are HOA's in Plano Texas that prohibit American made trucks/pickups from being parked visibly in your driveway......."

Weren't folks just trying to blame the dems for HOAs yesterday on this thread? Something something deep red Texas and Florida...something something freedom....

A lot of land to the north of me sold their mineral rights out to the phosphate and sand mine some sold timber. It makes the land almost impossible to sell if the owner was inclined to seems most people that have the money to buy large tracts are smart enough to not buy land that they can’t make any money off of lol.
I know with some timber rights deals you have to make sure that they will clean up the stumps and replant. I heard of a older gentleman getting screwed pretty good on a deal they left him with a giant stumpy clear cut

Company’s are less likely to try that here as there are government grants for replanting and silvaculture so it’s a lucrative secondary revenue stream.

You are quite correct that the U.S. Constitution places limits on the government and not citizens.

However the separation of church and state doesn't just come from that letter. If flows into the multitude of cases interpreting the Establishment Clause and Article VI, as well as the many Federal and State RFRA's out there and more recent internal guidance from the Office of Personnel Management (yes I know they blow like the wind, but it is relevant).

If you’re referring to submission to governing authorities, and paying taxes, then please justify American independence
Seems to me that someone already spelled it out in clear terms:

Laughable.

What argument am I losing? I posted a meme and some facts. Those facts are still true- no argument anywhere. Hard to be losing an argument thats not taking place, or by using truth to express information.

What insults, especially childish ones, did I resort to?

Darvo? Like what you did to my original post and continue to do?

Projection, accusations, gaslighting, lies? Name them. I posted a meme, then I proved its merit, and called out the hypocrisy of your ilk and postings. ... show me one thing, using my entire posts for full context, where I lied. You haven't yet (just changed your wording, aka moved the goalposts), and can't.

Speaking of alternative facts, what does Kellyanne Conway have to do with anything I posted? Damn, another showing of your hypocrisy: Trying to call me out for doing something that you are literally in the middle of doing yourself!

I’ve yet to see anyone make a convincing biblical argument justifying the American Revolution. The context of Aaron’s post was in response to my post about reading Romans chapter 13.

Religious justification for the American Revolution, despite biblical commands to obey authorities (Romans 13:1-7), was argued by colonists who viewed Britain's actions as tyranny, violating both legal rights and biblical principles. Proponents saw it as a "just war" against unjust authority, a defense of liberties, and a duty to resist tyrants, rather than a direct rebellion against God’s ordained order.

That’s the argument I’ve always heard but I can’t reconcile Romans 13, let alone the entire New Testament, with that argument.
