Looking at a 2027 hunt with a buddy. We've previously been on a hunt together to RSA and are in planning stages for our next adventure. Would like to hear some offers from our great forum sponsors. Would like to hunt larger properties and be fully immersed in all things Africa, maybe see some of the big 5, however we don't yet have Zimbabwe or Tanzania budget so keep that in mind. Likely hunt 2on1 for 7days. We don't need 5 star luxury accommodations. Primary species for me would include eland, nyala, waterbuck, opportunistic warthog, baboon, jackal, etc. I would also like to attempt with handgun like an impala or something. I very much enjoy the tracking aspect and would love to hunt the eland via tracking. His primary pursuit would be kudu, warthog, and perhaps zebra or another PG. He would like to perhaps pay observer rate for remaining days if he is successful with kudu early on if that is an option.

Thank you all!

We will also be able to accommodate you and your friend.
All the species you mentioned are on our game reserve in plentifull numbers.

Tracking an eland (and any other specie) on foot is our specialty.
We have excellent Bushman and Tswana trackers.
It is amazing to see them in action.
No words - just soft whistles and hand signals until your quarry appear like magic in front of you.

Handgun on Impala is do-able.
Baboons and Jackals are free as opportunity species but if we have to go out at night and call in jackals then trophy fee payable.

Send an e-mail for more information.

Sincerely
Hans de Klerk

Only If you feel like you can change your list of species you want to hunt,

then I highly recommend @KHOMAS HIGHLAND HUNTING SAFARIS Namibia is a cool country and could be cool for yall to add another country to your list.

Me and my hunting buddy @JINKLE have done a 2x1 7 day hunt. I also went a few years before that with my father.

It’s big opens spaces. Low fence cattle ranches. Hard hunting, indigenous species. Real wildlife.

Just an honest recommendation from one hunter to another. You can hit me up if you want honest answers.

Again only if you feel like you can change your list up. Nyala of course are not native. So that might be a I no go for ya! Cheers

We’d love the opportunity to put together a truly special hunt for you and your hunting partner.

Yes, we have all the species you mentioned, and all our hunting is strictly spot-and-stalk—proper, challenging hunting with plenty of tracking and close encounters.

Our accommodation is beautiful and offers a full African experience, with exclusive use of the lodge. We never mix hunting groups, so when you’re here, you’ll be the only hunters in camp.

I’m the owner of Kalahari Safari and the 45,000-acre ranch, and I’ll personally be your PH throughout the hunt.

You’ll love Namibia—it offers a truly authentic and very different African experience.

Feel free to send me a DM for a detailed offer or any questions you may have.

We are excited to put together a memorable and rewarding hunt for you and your hunting partner.

Our areas provide a genuine, authentic safari experience. Each of the regions supports self-sustaining herds of plains game, with buffalo roaming freely throughout the landscape.

We do offer all the species you mentioned. All of our safaris take place on large areas, with no internal fences or camps. Dangerous game hunting is conducted on foot, using traditional tracking and spot-and-stalk methods to give you a truly unforgettable African hunting experience.

Thank you all!
RSA or Namibia would probably fit what you’re after without blowing the budget. Plenty of big properties, good variety of species, and still a solid “Africa experience” without going full Tanzania/Zim pricing.
Eland tracking is definitely doable in the right area, just make sure you pick an outfitter that actually focuses on that style, not just driving around.
2 on 1 for 7 days is pretty standard, and most places will let your buddy switch to observer rate if he tags out early, just something to confirm upfront.
Handgun on impala would be a fun challenge too if the PH is on board.

Hello,

Am I reading your post correctly to say that the Tsavo rifle will be coming out with a composite stock later this year? I ask because I had been looking very hard for a Tsavo, but if there is going to be a composite stock model I will wait for that.

Thank you for your time,

Andrew

Saw your post. Nice. Denver too. Genesee area (just off 70) if ever up this way. Alternatively, do you have a membership at GGC? Whatever, you'll have a wonderful time in Africa. Enjoy.
