I'm a semi retired educator and a lifelong hunter. I have been dreaming about hunting in Africa since I was 14 reading Outdoor Life and other hunting magazines. I have watched many videos and talked to a few hunters at gun shows. I'm 67 and still in good shape so I need to go soon while I am still active. As in this year or next and Namibia is my destination. Yesterday I read and thoroughly enjoyed a Canadian hunter's experience and detailed writings about his hunt. This excited me even more and thus I joined this fine forum.

The only piece of advise that I have to offer is don't wait too long to bite the bullet. It is a little late but not impossible to book a safari for this year, but you are right on schedule for a trip in 2019. AH is the best site on the web to help you plan your "hunt of a lifetime."
