Hello everybody.

Just to give a short introduction: I´am 37 years old, married, got two children. Grew up on a farm, studied forestry, hunted since my early years (just like my dad and grandpa).

I work as editor in chief for a new hunting magazine, called `Jagdzeit International`.It deals about hunting all over the world.

Been to Africa 15 times, worked for a while in Namibia. I have just been to Tansania, hunted with Ryan Shallom in Kilombero South. (Which was a great experience!)

Cheers – Bernd

Welcome Bernd!

According to me there is no better hunting site than this one. Good Luck and enjoy this site.

Welcome to AH Bernd! Sounds like you have plenty of hunting under your belt... Look forward to hearing about your adventures. Glad to learn that you have hunted with Ryan in the Kilombero, sounds like an awesome hunting destination!

Thank you

That´s a nice welcome. Hopefully I have some time to join the AH party. The site looks great.

Thank you Jerome. But don´t expect too much. There will be many people on AH who hunted more than me. There is a lot of room to learn...

Cheers - Bernd

Good morning,
Did you hunt w Leeuwkop at their ranch or in Zimbabwe? The ranch looks awesome, but I'll be in Zimbabwe for buffalo and whatever else we dig up.
What did you hunt for?
Vaccines?
What rifle did you use?
I feel like I need a good cotton safari shirt and an ammo belt to make the hunt feel right!
How often did you shoot prior to going?
Did you use sticks for shooting practice?
