Oh my, that is terrible, and I can only imagine the pain his family is going through right now. I was not expecting that.

Prayers for his wife and children.

It is now being confirmed that the cause of death was suicide. Just terrible news, you never know what is really happening with others. There is help out there if you need it.

praying for the family.

Very sad. I'll be keeping his family and friends in my prayers.

Very sad

Sad news. R.I.P. Jason. Prayers for his family.
I had read he been on a sheep not just last month with Donald Trump Jr.

Yes he was, and killed a monster sheep.

He’s a traditional bowhunter, right?

How did he get CTE? Sport? Military service?

I enjoyed his longbow moose adventure.

Best wishes to his family and friends.

He played in college, and sustained some injuries while playing. I read that when he played he lead in with his helmet, not the way the game is being played today. He (Jason) said that he knew he suffered from CTE. Unfortunately CTE can not be diagnosed while he was alive, and CTE can only be diagnosed after death.

Tragic he couldn't reach out to someone to get help. This tragedy is heartbreaking in more than one way.

It's always sad when someone leaves us before they reach their full potential

Business is the only way to fly. I'm headed to SA August 25. I'm hoping that business isn't an arm and a leg. If you don't mind, what airline and the cost for your trip. Mine will be convoluted. I'll be flying into the states to pick up my 416 Rigby as Thailand doesn't allow firearms (pay no attention to the daily shootings and killings) so I'll have 2 very long trips.

Hi EGS

I read your thread with interest. Would you mind sending me that PDF? May I put it on my website?
