Read this forum for a couple years… very informative without too much bs..

Im an Aussie from Qld but Im based in Singapore.

Grew up hunting pigs in FNQ.. I have hunted in Alaska, Sweden, Zimbabwe, and obviously Australia..

Have a couple of 416 rigby’s - one a Rigby and the other an M98 Mauser, also have a double in 500/450NE.

Outside of Africa I have also used the 416’s in Australia on feral camels and can say it’s good to have the extra oomph.. they are pretty tough.

Looking at going back to Africa next year and considering to buy a Heym double - which I’ll need some input on.

Thanks.

Welcome EDC, lots of knowledge regarding doubles and all things hunting on this forum.

EDC, welcome to the forum! A number of Aussies on here. I have read a bit about the history and hunting Aussie camels. They must be really tough to clean and debone! Huge!

Had an excellent classifieds transaction with JoninCO. A truly honest and standup member. I wouldn't hesitate at all to deal with him again. Thanks, J!

Hi Lance, Hope you well. I collect Mauser rifles and they are very much part of my cultural history in Africa. Would you consider selling the rifle now a year on ? I'd like to place it in my collection of Mauser rifles. Many thx

I saw where you hunted elephant with backcountry safaris in Zimbabwe.
Was looking to book an elephant hunt and wanted to know how your hunt went
and if you would recommend them.

Thanks
Mike
hi, do you know about lions hunters, leopard hunters, and crocodiles hunters of years 1930s-1950s
I'm new to Africa Hunting. I would like to purchase a Heym 450-400 double rifle. I'm left-handed but would prefer a non-canted gun. Is anyone in the community considering parting with theirs?
