Hello from Ontario

Hi All.
I have been lurking on this site for months and a member since December. It has taken me 4 months to work up courage to post an introduction I am an avid waterfowler and turkey hunter, have not done any large game hunting aside from the yearly deer hunts. That being said, I have great interest(my wife would say obsession) with all things to do with hunting in Africa. I am hoping to someday turn the dream into reality. Thanks for all the great stories/reports so far and look forward to much more!

Hi Dwayne, welcome! I'm a newcomer as well. My wife and I have always dreamt of going to Africa; she had visions of boating down the Nile but she readily agreed to my suggestion that we save up for a 12-day South African safari. She'll be coming along as an observer/photographer during the hunt, although I'm doing my best to convince her that she should take an animal of her own. As this will be our trip of a lifetime, we'll be doing the "tourist thing" before and afterwards.
