Hello my name is Ken and I've been watching here for a while and decided it's time to join. I haven't had the chance to hunt in Africa but it is a dream of mine to go someday. I need to go to Alaska before I leave the states though. I look forward to joining in all the conversations though!

Welcome to AH. As always; stick around here and you'll be in Africa sooner than you think.

I'm outside the Louisville area by around 20-30 minutes. You in the state too?
No but my brother-in-law is in Boone County. He also has some hunting land in Gallatin County near the speedway.

I gotcha! I grew up close to Boone and pass through Gallatin when I go to visit my family. That's some good hunting ground out there!

:S Welcome:

You will definitely get the Africa bug here! My mother was born and raised in Middlesboro, around Cumberland Gap.

Welcome! Nothing like AH for information and getting people on their way to Africa.

Welcome aboard!

Is this rifle sold? If not what is the weight of it and do you know if there is enough difference in diameter between the 35W and the 9.3 to allow for a rebore to a 9.3x62 which is what I am after?
Thanks,
Gary (Just down the road in Springfield)

Forgive me if this is the incorrect area, I signed up to this forum just now because I wanted to be on the list to purchase a copy of your autobiography. Please feel free to pass my information along to whomever is selling. Thank you so much. I look forward to it!
I like the Tillie in my picture. They are supposed to fit loose (2 fingers inside hat band), have mesh for cooling, and hold their shape after washing.
