The reason I joined this site was that it has a lot of information on .375hh and 375 ruger a caliber I have fallen in love with.
I don't have a great need for a rifle so large but I like to be different the rifle being replaced is a m700 classic in 35 Whelen which I gave to my son for a graduation gift.
This site contains a lot of info and a lot of people who can help me out when I get in a bind.

Hunting in Africa is just a dream at the moment but hunting info from all over the world is priceless.

But with my son taking my rifle and going off for higher education I was left light on fire power and lighter in the wallet so a replacement has to be cheap.
So I ordered a Mossberg Patriot in 375 Ruger.
I know that it is not a classic African rifle not crf but if it will hit where I want it to it will do until I can get my Mouser action made the way it should be.

Welcome to the sight, for the most part I think almost everyone on this forum has at least one 375, at least it seems that way. It actually should be a law that you must own one per household.

Well I will have mine in less than a week I have been stocking up on reloading supplies found blemish 300gr bullets for getting to know you time with rifle then to GS custom 200hv for bear/deer wanted to get away from lead since while cutting up a deer my son shot I found tiny flakes of lead 12"from bullet path. This was with mild loads in 7mm08 not a speedster mag. Ran into GS custom bullets while reading about 375 Ruger and figured I would give them a try. Not cheap but I can load my own for less then factory rounds.
So when all arrives I will start the process.
