Man, I am so happy for you and am honored to be of help. And I share the sentiment; I have no idea what will happen with my collection once I'm gone and most of the time I try not to think about it. I keep telling myself that I will soon start selling some off, but that's been a couple years now and I keep hunting the next one. :-)

PS - if memory serves, I think this is the second or third time I've tipped off a fellow AH'er about a gun they were seeking, and helping each other out is one of my favorite things about this community.

Congrats! That makes 2 of us this week. I stumbled into an RSM in 416 Rigby yesterday while looking at another rifle from an individual. I passed on the other rifle and bought the RSM. But, I'm not sure I'm done yet. lol

I was going to try and buy it when they opened, listing was gone at 6am. It was a 90's Classic in a aftermarket synthetic stock with custom rear sights. Steal at 850.
 
Hey Gang! Ruger M77 (RSM?) in .458 for $1,499.00. At least worth looking into! Good luck!

Hey Hedge, that one’s not an RSM model, just a 77. Pictures show a possible crack behind the tang, would be good to verify that if anyone is looking to deal on this one.
 
Copy that. It definitely has some bruises, but it's rare to see a Ruger in 458. Thanks My Man!

Am I reading your post correctly to say that the Tsavo rifle will be coming out with a composite stock later this year? I ask because I had been looking very hard for a Tsavo, but if there is going to be a composite stock model I will wait for that.
