Good Gun Deals This Week

Someone here was looking for a small bore DR

This is the best deal I’ve seen on a rifle in a long time. A WR drop lock. In a practical caliber. With a lot of provenance. My book on WR has 4 pages dedicated to the Maharaja of Alwar

I really need to stop looking at gun classifieds.

Dang, that is a cool rifle!

The beautiful Rigby I recently pulled out of Oklahoma will have to suffice!

I agree with Franz we need to see some pics of your Rigby.

There is no litmus test to join the Society. You claim to be a Luddite, and you are accepted! :A Thumbs Up:

I've been trying to buy this rifle (LEFT) for some time and finally put the right deal together that was fair for all.

330 Dakota with many goodies.

I'm putting a plan together to gather ammo/brass and take her to the range. Maybe she will do some black bear hunting this fall.

If you have any brass or ammo for sale, let me know!

Saw today that my local gun store, Shedhorn Sports in Ennis Montana, has a Ruger M77 Mark II 375HH on consignment. Was listed for $3599, but marked down to $2300, guess seller needs to move it. Has a 24” barrel, barrel band and iron sights with a Leupold 1.5-4x20 scope. Looks to be in great condition. If interested go to Shedhorn.com to see or give them a call, you can search by caliber in their drop down menu to find it.

Another interesting gun they are highlighting in an email I got from them if you are a collector of unique, rare guns is a Selmar Eggers Whale Gun made of bronze from the late 1800’s that has a Breech block loading mechanism to fire a bomb lance by whalers. Pretty unique and rare

I purchased a very nice Browning Superposed from Shedhorn a few years ago. Very easy and enjoyable to work with, especially when trying to coordinate shipping/FFL transfer. Great store with great folks.

I don't see it on their website. Must have sold.

Wow. That is one beautiful Rigby.

As I continue my search...:)

Collector’s Firearms in Houston is currently running an advertisement about purchasing guns from the Canadian government following the mandated government buyout of over 2000 models. Said it would be a shame to lose them, with so many collectors in Texas.

Going after guns of interest. So you Canucks, if you wanna come visit your surrendered firearms, come on down to Texas. I’ll put you up for a night or so. Pour some nice bourbon

Damn. Damn that felt good.

Saw your post. Nice. Denver too. Genesee area (just off 70) if ever up this way. Alternatively, do you have a membership at GGC? Whatever, you'll have a wonderful time in Africa. Enjoy.
