What does IIRC mean?
If I Recall CorrectlyWhat does IIRC mean?
Nothing wrong with not sharing if you are bidding. If you were not bidding then you better share it!Ethical dilemma - I found one that should be on this thread. But... I am currently the high bidder and don't want the competition! If I get it, I'll post it up.
Too expensive for my bloodThis is interesting:
Prices seem ambitious but the collection is beautiful.

AgreedI’d rather go for a Rigby and would be cheaper to buy than some of those.![]()
No doubt.Too expensive for my blood
Completely agree! Have to laugh though with a big bore DG rifle with engraved pigeons!!!Not so much a good deal as there will never be a resell market for this. But if someone wants a double to play with this is as cheap a way to do it as you’ll see.
Haven't you seen "The Birds"? They can be dangerous game too!Completely agree! Have to laugh though with a big bore DG rifle with engraved pigeons!!!
Holy mother of god that is an amazing collection! Whomever it was had exquisite taste in fine arms. This is interesting:

That is a very fine rifle, congrats!Just bought the RSM .416. Been looking for awhile. I think I’m done now. Wife says hallelujah. I say HA!!
I figured there might be at least one person out there interested in it, and glad you found what you were looking for. Having held it myself earlier this afternoon, I think you did very well and will be pleased with it.Just bought the RSM .416. Been looking for awhile. I think I’m done now. Wife says hallelujah. I say HA!!

Thank you cash tx for the heads up. I really have been looking for a RSM .416 Rigby for some time and this truly completes my collection. Have everything covered from .223 and 22.250 to .270 to .300 wm to .338 to.375 and now to .416. Prairie dogs to muleys to elk to Cape buffalo to elephants. Can’t think of a gap in my battery, no desire for a double. So I’m done. Til tomorrow! We are truly a spoiled sick group! The sad thing for me is that neither my son nor son in law have any interest in the “blood sports” so where do the rifles go when I croak? We need an AH museum for slightly used high end firearms from dead owners with no interested heirs…. Who wants to take charge? I nominate Jerome
