Ugliest Rifle

This rifle is homely not ugly, there is a big difference between the 2. If in doubt refer to a Moisin Nagant.

Mmm...not too sure the short carbine version of the moisin is kinda appealing....used to pop up occasionally in the small gunshop where I come from...was tempted on couple occasions...would make a neat truck gun....thought of the metal butt plate and amount of recoil tempered my enthusiasm though.....

My .375 Holland & Holland Magnum Remington Model 700 Kevlar Stock Custom (with M16 extractor fitted to it). Not ugly by any means… but it’s just that I much prefer the classic style look of walnut wooden stocks with fine graining.

A fine serviceable rifle, thoroughly to be relied upon (it was a gift from my loving son-in-law). Even more so, after I had McBride’s Gun Works replace the flimsy sheet metal factory extractor with the aforementioned M16 extractor. And in excellent condition. I can’t complain about it, although I do wish that it was a Mauser Model 98 Magnum Diplomat.

Ugly ? Here is a candidate, my tractor and truck rifle for the past 30 years. A M44 Mosin that I bubbadized at various points to suit my needs. It still rides in my truck ready for action. The flash hider was added primarily to protect the muzzle from jacks, seat brackets and tools when bouncing around. I welded an extended and swept back bolt handle for easier operation, and added a pistol grip to the straight grip stock from a piece of 2x4 before spray painting.

I do not own one of these, but it is so amazingly shocking to the eye it must be shared in any discussion of ugly rifles.

This reminds me of something out of a Mad Max movie. Or maybe Transformers. It can turn into a toaster oven or something like that. All for the low low price of $3K!

Spike I have concerns about the things that appeal to you.
Not my rifle but belonged to the ranger we had in Zimbabwe for the safari. Not sure what caliber it is but has seen better days….

See you are from Denmark - see quite a few Danes where I stalk in Scotland - great hunters.
The Harkilia stuff works well in Africa - I have a bit for use here in UK.
I am again looking for 600 Nitro dies preferably RCBS 1 inch. The set I purchased previously are 1 1/2 inch and do not fit my die. Another member has graciously taken them off my hands. If anyone happens to have a set of 600 Nitro Dies that will fit my Rockchucker Supreme RCBS press, please shoot me a message and thanks in advance for any assistance you may have to offer!
I have not posted any items for sale on this forum and will not every put anything for sale. My account was hacked and I've worked with the admin to get things shut down.
