Hello Africa Hunting Colleagues,

This is my first post on this fine forum, and is a memorable one! In three days, my wife and I leave for South Africa for our first safari. We are pursuing Kudu, Gemsbok, Impala and Zebra with the help of KMG Hunting Safaris, Marius, and his competent staff. Possibly also warthog and whatever else catches our fancy. We'll see how the trip shapes up!

We can't wait to head over and I have to tell you, this will finally give me some relief from the agony of waiting for this trip!!! Wish me luck!

John try not to vibrate yourself out of the plane.
Make sure you tell us how hard Marius worked to get your trophies for you.
Look forward to your pictures and stories upon your return.

Good luck and shoot straight!!

Good luck is a residue of preparation. Hope you are prepared for the time of your life. Best of luck John.

Have a good time! Marius runs a good business.

Good luck! I am jealous, I have to wait until Sept 8th to leave for my hunt.

Good luck to ya. Please post a hunting report upon your return. Love reading about African hunts. I'm sure Marius will do right by you.

John

Have a great time, take ton's of pictures and post some on your return.

take a book to read on the way over. The movies only go so far.

Get up every 2 hours and take a walk down the plain to the rest room and back to stretch your legs.

Watch where you put your money as hunters are targeted by thieve even on airplanes.

Have fun and enjoy the safari.

Good luck with the hunt...sure it will go well. Will almost guarantee that 3 days into the hunt you & your wife will be planning your next trip to Africa....ahh the agony & the ecstacy!

Good luck with your hunt I'll be over in Tarkastad on the 28th if I see any big Kudu I'll run them your way if you see any Vaal Rhebuck run them my way. You and your wife have fun you'll love the area.;) Oh and Welcome to AH!

Phil, Thats the point isnt it? Who is John Galt? Haven't you read "Atlas Shrugged" by Ayn Rand? If not, why not? It should be required reading at High School level in this country.

Have a great time!
I am sure you will enjoy it very much.
Will be looking forward to the report when you come back home :)

Good luck, you will have the time of your life!

Ha! Yes- she is!

Thanks everyone for the luck! As was stated earlier, luck is a result of preperation- hopefully I'm as over-prepared as can be... Will post a hunting report once I return.

Thanks again,

John
