Bushpig's teeth is secondary as far as the trophy goes. Its about the size of the warts, knobs and facial features on the boars.
Same as with Eland. Horn length comes secondary, after the blue neck and size of the mop on the forehead.

Eland is my number one animal in africa and when i think of them its never the horns. I love the massive frame of mature bulls with a saggy gut and big dewlap.

Yesterday with Marius..... Spotted at a kilometre, shot at 8 yards in incredibly thick bush. I'd recommend this to anyone.... ;)

I'll be trying for one with Marius in 3 weeks!

Very nice Bushbuck, congrats! Might have to change plans next week if the hyena hunt goes well;)

Decisions, decisions Marius has to stop posting pics, just when you think you have your mind made up about what you want to chase he puts up another photo! Plane ride starts tonight, can't wait to get back!

Good luck! We leave next Thursday. Spend a couple days in Port Elizabeth to rest up and then it's go time after more than a year of waiting!

Here's a photo of Tony receiving that Shaw & Hunter award at the 1970 annual EAPHA Dinner Dance. Tony Dyer, then EAPHA President and Princess (Sunny) von Auersperg presented it. I also attended the event.
