Just for the record, I am originally from Texas, retired out of the military and stayed in Louisiana! Hope to get tips and answers to my hundreds of questions from you guys, and gals, as I plan and prep for this trip! My wife would definitely like to hear from non-hunting women as she is really interested in the photo safaris and other opportunities.

Leonard: My wife (a Louisiana native) is a non-hunter and we've done a number of photos safaris the past several years, while living here in Nigeria. Africa has a lot to offer for everyone. We took our kids to Vic Falls and Chobe and I am not exaggerating when I say it was a life changing event for all of them. The real animal kingdom is not that of Walt Disney and more like NatGeo.

I'll send you a PM with some links from our photo safaris.

Welcome to AH Leonard! You won't find a better hunting community with great folks and outfitters alike. Feel free to PM me with any questions or concerns.

Hi Dr. Ray, I will be in Cooktown from Oct 16 to Oct 23 fishing Lizard Island Black Marlin Tournament.

I have several "slack" days after fishing before I head for stay in Sydney and Fiji.

Do you have any recommendations for 1 or 2 day hunt near Cooktown?

I've hunted both DG and PG in 4 different countries in Africa.
Thank you,
Bob

Good morning. I see that you had a Sauer 202 for sale for $3,000. Did you sell it at that price?
I have one for sale as well. I listed it (on here ) at $3,000 as well. Is the price high, low or right where it should be?

Thanks. Alex. [redacted] in case you want to call me to discuss further. I appreciate your time help and support.
