This is interesting

The first I’ve heard of it

I’m the only surviving family member as far as i’m aware

I shall look into it

Not holding my breath though !

Read it a few days ago....not exactly a large amount even to start with....and not cash either

Not to diminish the damage and impact to the people killed and their families. Or implying it’s ok.

Just an observation from the photos. The damage is not what we would expect from even a 500 bomb laying static on the ground. Let alone traveling at the speed of these missiles. This missile either had less munitions, (not likely).
More likely is it failed to detonate.

There should be far more damage to trees, and especially the buildings.

If it failed to detonate, there would be a scar on the ground and a bunch of missile wreckage. There would be no explosion of any type, The fuel on a ballistic missile burns up in the first few seconds of flight. I can't post the burn time of an ATACMS (roughly analogous), but it is well under a minute. The only casualties would be someone unlucky enough to be hit by the body of the missile.

Looks about what I would expect from a 500lb explosive blast, and a casualty count in the range of 150 would seem to underscore that conclusion.

Speed would have no effect on the blast of an HE explosive (also notes the artilleryman). It is a chemical reaction. Kinetic energy can be employed as a penetration aid, but this was obviously not a warhead designed for penetration so velocity would have no effect on the size of the blast. I also suspect it was the lighter of its range of warheads (500 lbs) because that is the longest range variant.

Some more footage of the aftermath that focuses on things besides butchered civilians.

Got to love dealing with elections Canada after finally getting someone on the phone I got told they are aware of the problem and are “hoping”to have voter cards to us before the early voting polls.

This is from a 500r same delivery system. This is more of what I would expect from 500 pounds. Even without a direct impact, there should’ve been more damage to that building. Looks like damage from a secondary explosion to me.

My initial point was that it’s a very unreliable system. Accuracy and detonation wise.

1% of the first tranche of what is owed, the rest paid in Funny money bonds that aren’t redeemable. Literally, payment in Monopoly money. Has Zim ever paid sovereign debt back to anyone?

Modern St. Patrick's day in Ireland.

As I have said before I gave up watching these type of videos on UK.....Irish Republic etc....as my internal volcano goes krakatoa......too late to do anything all are fkd unfortunately....

Today, the Russian Federation - you know those poor misunderstood people straddling Europe and Asia - carried out a guided missile strike against the commercial center of the Ukrainian city of Sumy. Over thirty civilians were killed and another 80-100 injured. The weapon used was an Iskander Ballistic Missile with a range probable error of around 30 feet. It carries an 800 to 1500 lb conventional warhead depending on the model. It was right on target, dead center the square. The pro Russian contingent here really should look through the photos below.

One of the critical military assets destroyed in the strike was an organist of national renown by the name of Olena Kohut. Here talent is worth remembering for a few moments after her shredded body was removed from the scene of the strike.

Sadly, our administration and the man who would end the war in 24 hours seem oblivious to Russia blatantly and brutally ignoring any proposed ceasefire.

No military targets in Sumy...nothing less than terror bombing.. I hope Germany will release Taurus missiles (500km range) to Ukraine shortly..

I assume Trump is still holding back the last shipment of military aid that Biden gave...still in Poland..?

I have an old H&H .500ex I want rebarreled with all engraving, regulating etc. The finest gunsmith in Ferlach, Austria wanted €12000. H&H wanted almost 3x that much. The gunsmiths in London don’t make more than gunsmith in Ferlach. As I understand HH have gone bust a few times. Wonder why?…..
I'm sure H&H has a LOT more overhead expense than a one man shop. In fact they have an arduous process of making their own barrels with integral blocks all machined from one piece of steel. In the old days the were cast. There is a whole World of difference between cast steel and a machined piece. If that Australian is making new barrels and welding them on the block, of course he can do it cheaper.

Even if they use the exact same methods, why would H&H do a cut rate job when they have over a 5 year waiting list on new orders?

They have projects in their books that they would like to do as inventory to show and offer for sale but those have been on hold while customers orders take priority.

Sadly, this is the status quo of every country in the EU over the last 2 decades with the exception of Hungary... The London I visited 25 years ago was unrecognizable during my last recent visit... It's no surprise when you have progressive liberals with the globalist mentality running things...

I've seen Mardi Gras make a bigger mess than that....

If it is in a decent shape, would you be willing to sell it for $100 shipped? IS it missing the retention spring that goes over the bolt?
Thank you Ferenc
