Politics

This seems to be much the same group that penned the July 22 oped for the New York Times describing Trump's actions on Jan 6 as dereliction of duty. I actually know Chiarelli, Jumper, and Casey somewhat and they, unlike Hayden for instance, are generally apolitical. I know Krulak was incensed by Trump's reported comments about losers and suckers.

I had the opportunity to spend a bit of time around Casey on several occasions between 2005-2007..
While he was close to Wolfowitz (who I worked for at the time) who was clearly extremely political.. I completely agree.. Casey as about as apolitical of a GO as I have been around... I cant recall a single time I heard a conversation or watched an action from Casey that was politically driven.. he was all about the soldiers and the good of the Army..

And those are who 50% of our population is taking direction from.

As Ron White likes to say, "You can't fix stupid"

You can fix stupid..

But unfortunately it usually requires a center fire rifle and the commission of a felony…

What amazes me more than SJL holding office… is the fact that she continues to get re-elected…

I mean, if you want a liberal minority female to hold her office, cool… the people should get what they want…

But this was the best you could do Houston????

I’m still blown away every time I am reminded that someone this willfully ignorant has an education from Yale, a JD from UVA, and passed the bar exam before entering politics…

Unfortunately, attrition didn’t catch her.

Two of my favorite takes from eclipse day in America. Our collective IQ is likely far overstated.

Sheila Jackson Lee who is special to all Texans.

Only to be followed by the irrepressible Sunny Hostin's theoretical insight.

I really do lead a sheltered and secluded life. I honestly had no idea such outright stupidity existed.

And wow, Whoopi is the scientific intellectual of that group of idiots!

Whatever the imaginative purpose of the "Testudo" T62 tank of the Russian army, its life sadly was cut somewhat short. One would assume the UA was able to geo-locate the vehicle's location from the video footage posted by the proud, or perhaps merely perplexed, Russian soldier who filmed it.

Shortly before its demise, it apparently did attempt to lead an assault against a UA defensive position. To its credit, it seems to be one of the few platforms to survive the attempt. Not sure what it expected to accomplish with no ability to traverse its turret meaningfully or use its target acquisition capability. Of course, it is a T62, and its capabilities are rather limited to begin with by modern main battle tank standards.

Makes one wonder if some of her educational qualifications are based on something other than academic achievement :A Wacko:. But that's not possible......................right?

I realize how hard the bug has bit. I’m on the cusp of safari #2 and I’m looking to plan #3 with my 11 year old a year from now while looking at my work schedule for overtime and computing the math of how many shifts are needed….

I'd like to get some too.

My wife (a biologist, like me) had to have a melanoma removed from her arm last fall.

Hallo Marius- do you have possibilities for stags in September during the roar? Where are your hunting areas in Romania?
