Wildlife & Birdlife Pictures From The Dark Continent

Thanks. All 3 parks were amazing. The large herds and the number of Lions in the Serengeti was beyond my dreams. We lost count of how many Lions we saw after a day and a halve. My daughter and I said the Ngorongoro Crater was what Eden must have been like. Tarangire was the prettiest of the 3 and is the place to go to see elephants and birds.

Gruesome death... the circle of life in Africa can be cruel. Pic taken in our Kalahari area!

Hey I get red.... thanks Gizmo. Print whatever you want, you are welcome.
I hope I will take more. Especially in Benin to show you guys how nice and unique it is. It looks like most you are scared about this part of the continent.
Best
Christophe

Kruger: I thought this guy was going to hop in the truck with us. He walked right up to the side of the truck and was looking right at my wife for about 15 seconds, then turned and walked round the truck into the bush.

Kalahari Rangers, Northern Cape, RSA. I looked at this Sable for about 5 minutes. I very seriously thought about bring this home with me, but I left him to get a little bigger. If someone would have said 43, he would have been coming home.

I'm unfortunately on a diet. Presently in VA hospital as Agent Orange finally caught up with me. Cancer and I no longer can speak. If all goes well I'll be out of here and back home in Thailand by end of July. Tough road but I'm a tough old guy. I'll make it that hunt.

Nice one there. I guided for mulies and elk for about 10 or so years in northern New Mexico.

Business is the only way to fly. I'm headed to SA August 25. I'm hoping that business isn't an arm and a leg. If you don't mind, what airline and the cost for your trip. Mine will be convoluted. I'll be flying into the states to pick up my 416 Rigby as Thailand doesn't allow firearms (pay no attention to the daily shootings and killings) so I'll have 2 very long trips.
