Why you should NEVER eat Lobster!

So I guess raw oysters (the ocean kind not those things that @Royal27 eats) are out of the question? A little lemon and tabasco and we're talking serious eating there Popeye!

You guys got me hungry now. A night at Pappadeaux's for Cajun style seafood in Dallas may be called for!

I'm in for that!!!!

Can't think of very many sea critters at that I would not eat.
Jellyfish hagfish and starfish come to mind.
But many of the rest are worth a try, sashimi, lightly seared or fully cooked.
So far I have eaten many critters from the sea, land and sky.

Now back to trying to figure out why I'm fat.

Let me know what you come up with because I can't figure out why I'm fat either, or why I'm out shape, or where that depression in the couch comes from....

Sadly, some otherwise well meaning young man will marry that moron and they'll hatch out a couple kids before he realizes his grave error.
Then if he grows a backbone, he will suffer the heart break of divorce and the huge financial damage that is always included.
Stupid people like this lobster girl make me tired.

Can't think of very many sea critters at the moment that I would not eat.
Jellyfish, hagfish and starfish come to mind and no doubt there are a few others.
But many of the rest are worth a try, sashimi, lightly seared or fully cooked (fresh caught yellow fin tuna for one tastes worlds better raw than it does cooked, and so does parrot fish, oysters, sea urchins and limpets - IMO).
Much to the horror of Lobster Girl and other ignoramuses like her, billions of people have eaten many critters from the sea, land and sky, prepared in a multitude of ways - none of these creatures lived through it.

Now back to trying to figure out why I'm fat.

OK so, stone crab is an exception to the "none of these creatures lived through it" thing if you consider that evidently, only part of their physical being is eaten these days.
In other words, now in these "modern times" Commercial Fishermen and Commercial Fisherwomen in places like Florida, pull off one claw of the stone crab and then toss said crab back into the sea, to grow another claw.
Not sure why it's a "claw" and not a "pincher" but anyway, I wonder if Lobster Girl would approve of the above practice for cattle, sheep, poultry and game animals .... I'm just sayin'.

Snooki is more used to eating the Sausage

here you go royal this is a crayfish
I klnew I had a photo on one of these computers somewhere
this isn't a typical crayfish
this is a green crayfish
don't know why they are called green
they are completely vegetarian just like spikeT,
they cant be caught in convientional craypots or traps , usually caught by divers , or board trawlers :D:D, this is one of my deckies , and he that's his breakfast ...............

That tail I'd bet has some good meat in it!

Anything in the ocean starting with lobster, scallops, shrimp ,fried oysters...

theres a lot of meat in the tail , on these green crays the meat runs a long way up into the carapice , as well
a cray this size feds all three of the lads .........
I much prefer weet bix for breakfast...............

Yea none of that raw fish for me either, slightly pink Tuna or Sword is acceptable but thats as far as I'll go

Rob44,

You have evolved properly.
Many of the rest of us are resistant to evolution.
Therefore, much of King Neptune's creatures in the raw, taste good to us.
As does Bombay Sapphire gin and Fever Tree brand Tonic Water on the rocks, with fresh lime squeezed through a screen to catch the seeds.

How savage!

Oye Bluey,

Truly, great minds think alike my friend.
Yellow fin is one of the Earth's finest delicacies for sure.
Most folks don't realize that Anchorage is only five and a half hours from Hawaii.
So, we get our share of fresh ahi (Hawaiian word for tuna).
We receive big eye tuna as well from Hawaii but, I agree with you mate, yellow fin totally rules.
There is none better.

Cheers,
Velo Dog.

o_O now bluey you either dont feed your crew much or the dont eat a lot......as that is perfect size for one person grilled in garlic butter or thermidored or just grilled on the braai.........:E Drooling:;)...i do prefer proper lobsters as i love the claw/pincer meat as well :E Drooling:...:A Yeah:

Gotta say I agree with Spike.t, the claws is what makes it. The big northern atlantic lobsters out of Maine, Massachussetts, etc. have nice big claws. The first time I ate them fresh, I was amazed people even thought about lobster tail. One year I got a heck of a deal on some big ones (4lb a pop) when I was up north fishing for cod. The claws alone could feed a person.

If anyone finds themselves on the Hawaiian island of Kauai, the best yellow fin sushi I've ever had in a restaurant was here:

Best yellow fin sushi ever was on the boat somewhere off the coast of Mexico.

Hallo Marius- do you have possibilities for stags in September during the roar? Where are your hunting areas in Romania?

Love your rifle! I'm needing a heavier rifle for Africa. Sold my .375 Dakota Safari several trips ago. Would you have any interest in a trade of some sort involving the custom 338/06 I have listed here on the site ( I have some room on my asking price. I also have a large quantity of the reloading components and new Redding dies as well as a box of A-Square Dead Tough ammo.
