View out the window- Post your pics

Here its just cold and dark, far too cold for to long for my taste, around -25 to -30 celsius every day since new years eve.

It’s Sunday 11 January, approximately 1:45 PM here in Anchorage, Alaska.
It quit snowing an hour or two ago but the sky looks like it wants to resume snowing.
The air is calm and the temperature is +15 Fnht ( -9.4 Celsius ).

The attached below photo is looking out our kitchen window.
The little snow covered cabin is my wife’s sauna.
Soon as I finish removing the snow from our driveway, lucky me, then I will have the great privilege of shoveling off the path to and the porch of the sauna.

Cheers,
Velo Dog.

PS:
I notice my photo has decided to tip over onto its side.
It is properly verticle in my photos collection.
Perhaps it will finish its nap and stand up straight later.
Meanwhile, I notice that it does right itself when I tap on it to expand to full s teen size.
(Computers, especially to include this smarty pants phone of mine).

Straight shot out the window, due south. While the snow and houses don't cheer people up, there is something about the evening alpenglow that keeps me going in the winter here in Alaska.

This is my home shot while walking back from my mailbox.
The building one may first notice is the barn.
The house is to the left, masked by trees.

Winter this year has gone in cycles of snow covering everything, followed by melting off, then more snow...
