Two Cape Buffalo Die Fighting

These two Cape Buffalo were found dead in Mountain Zebra National Park (South Africa) after apparently battling and their horns became interlocked... I actually once came upon two Kudu that had become interlocked like this, one was already dead and the other one was almost dead so I put him out of his misery... too bad I did not have a camera.

Very cool. A good reminder to respect those animals!

Thank you for sharing.

Sad way to end for both. Many whitetail end up that way.

I realize how hard the bug has bit. I’m on the cusp of safari #2 and I’m looking to plan #3 with my 11 year old a year from now while looking at my work schedule for overtime and computing the math of how many shifts are needed….

I'd like to get some too.

My wife (a biologist, like me) had to have a melanoma removed from her arm last fall.

Hallo Marius- do you have possibilities for stags in September during the roar? Where are your hunting areas in Romania?
