Hi Scott - great report on a great safari... and very detailed. thank you for posting it. we are looking forward to your return to Tanzania, you are welcome any time.
we appreciate your business and support - it was a pleasure to have you and Wendy with us on this safari!
I really enjoyed your report, thanks! Like yourself, I'm far more interested in PG over DG and you managed to get some beauties....I love them all. To me, the Grant's gazelle is in the Top 3 most beautiful animals in Africa along with Kudu and Sable. Congratulations!
Thanks to all for the positive comments. I would like to mention that I looked and shopped around for the best deal I could find in an area that had most of the species I was looking for with good quality. Some of the quotes I received further North near Lake Natron seemed ridiculous to me for plains game. Nathan’s pricing was more affordable. I know Woody paid almost the exact same prices as I did for daily rates and trophy fees. Woody shot more species (Greater Kudu, Dik-Dik, assorted duikers, etc...) than I did so he paid more overall but that was his choice. If someone wanted to add DG, we saw some big Leopard tracks more than once and a pride of Lions came to the skinning shed trying to get at our meat. We also saw other Lion tracks occasionally.

Great report, and some very nice trophies. I would love to get one of those Grants Gazelle one day. I understand it is an expensive proposition though.
I would sure like to hear what transpired in CAR....
Thanks for the report - and good job on it. There are some unique and absolutely gorgeous trophies to be had in Tanzania and looks like you took some great ones - I feel for you on the Thompsons, always seems to be an Achilles heel on every hunt
