In 8th grade I rode a skateboard and had a goofey haircut...sigh.Here you go Wildwillalaska, this might remind you of your youth on a TX spread.
I think I’m in 8th grade here…about 1979. I never killed anything off this filly’s back, but I could shoot off of her (30-30 here).
Way cool and way less-redneck than my youth. Here you go Wildwillalaska, this might remind you of your youth on a TX spread.

We appreciate the enthusiasm for the brand, whether it is for a hat or a gun - thank you!I got you right here. I probably shouldn’t be wearing this since I traded off my one Rigby but then again maybe I should just use this as motivation to buy another. Either way, this hat is perfect. View attachment 757184
Excitement for a monumental level hunt for me is all but overwhelming as the date closes in. And likely late for the moment, my mind shifted to a proper hat for the occasion.
I see all these cool action and adventure photos folks share, and of course trophy pics, with cool hats and I want that. I just can’t ever seem to sort what feels right for me, and when I do, then it looks funny.
I don’t often wear hats much any more despite growing up wearing a cowboy hat about 90% of the time outdoors. Looking back through my photos of hunts and adventures the last almost decade, I’m wearing basically the same damned hat, just in a couple different colors.
So I need to replace this old hat…

This new Rigby hat is a good option. It provides good sun protection while also not being too hot due to it being made from cotton canvas:

Ha! I hadn’t tried it yet for myself so I couldn’t give an honest review until after my trip. What the hell Franz? Holding out on me.
