I find it interesting that wars have been fought, people have been killed and empires reduced to rubble in the name of one name versus another name while at the core both names are of the same god.
Not trying to start anything here, but what is it that you find interesting ? I believe in the Lord and Jesus Christ and I'm just trying to understand your point. You kind of left it open, or I just don't get it. I,m just a dumb retired truck driver (owner operator) who is reading his Bible unfortunatley for the first time. Please explain. I am not trying to stir any pot here.

Thank you. I only went to the political forum once and that was enough for me. I asked my friend from Wisconsin once if he saw what was happening on the mourning national news today , and he said , I wake up in the mourning feeling good, so why watch the news and be depressed the rest of the day. :)

Lotta truth in that statement.. studies they’ve done show people watching the news at hospitals heal slower then those watching positive shows

What I find interesting is that people will fight to the death over a name, even if the name is just a different language term for the same thing. This is not stating religious belief but rather historical fact. the first monotheistic religion was Judaism which is based on the God of Abraham. then came Jesus of Nazareth, a man of the lineage of Abraham. Christians believe Jesus to be the Son of the God of Abraham. Fourteen hundred years later Mohammed noticed that there was no holy book regarding the monotheistic god so he went about writing one, the Quran. He refers to the Arab name for god as Allah but it is clear in his writings that he is referring to Allah as being the God of Abraham and that the Arab followers are the descendants of Abraham through Abraham's son Ishmael. So the three religions all claim the same god, just call the god by a different name just as there are several different names for the sun, by whatever name, it is still the sun.

Thank you Ray, I understand now the point your trying to make. Thank you for your explanation.

This should be good. IBTL.

Not 1400 years later, about 550 or 600 years later. Jerusalem was conquered by Muslims in AD 637.

IBTL "In Before The Lock"
Basically saying, this thread is going to be a goat roping, and I was here before the mods pulled the plug. You know...

According to Saint John the Evangelizer, if you do not worship the God of the Trinity as described in his Gospel, you are worshipping a false god.

That was intended as a shot at Jews when it was written, but applies equally to Islam.

You're welcome. I think.... :S Beat Dead Horse: :A Outta:

The devil is a deceiver and he’s got a lot of fallen angels at his disposal. Can’t believe in the Bible and aliens. Whatever they announce will no doubt lead a lot of people astray
Why can’t you believe in the Bible and aliens?
Is there any where in the Bible that states God never made anything else?

It is 100% true that you’ll not find any explicit statement in the Bible saying there are no aliens.

My argument is based on the silence of Scripture and the exclusivity of Scripture.

Silence as in the complete absence of anything of the sort and exclusivity in the sense that the Bible is the entire story of God and His relationship with man, no one else.

Some will say that’s thin. After all, absence of something does not disprove its existence. That’s fine. It’s my opinion but I think it’s the Scriptural way to look at it.

You have the entire story of creation of the entire universe at the beginning, the fall and redemption of man through a perfect sacrifice and then the end of all things. Culminating in a new heaven and a new earth in which God will dwell with His people. No mention of anything else.

If there were anyone else you think He would’ve mentioned it in His Word. All this stuff serves to deceive, confuse, distract and sow doubt. Nothing more.

The angles one could argue against mine are myriad so it’s hard to address them more specifically without them being brought up.
Have you read all the versions of the Bible?
Have you read all the testaments left out of the Bible?

So, the bible is the complete entire story of God's relationship with man. But on other topics, we can freely use other sources? So if Aliens show up in my back yard tonight, I can choose to believe they exist without worry of being labelled a heretic?

I don’t know what shot it takes because the trinity = “”It explains the divine connection rather than a physical or literal three-in-one substance. The Sun represents God, the rays are the Holy Spirit, and the mirror is the Manifestation through the profits”” ( Jesus , Buda, Allah) . “”Trinity" signifies the Divine Reality in three aspects: The Giver of Grace (God), The Grace (the Message/Manifestation), and The Recipient of the Grace.”

Read John 21:25

There is a LOT that was done, that was not written down.

Hello,

Am I reading your post correctly to say that the Tsavo rifle will be coming out with a composite stock later this year? I ask because I had been looking very hard for a Tsavo, but if there is going to be a composite stock model I will wait for that.

Thank you for your time,

Andrew

Saw your post. Nice. Denver too. Genesee area (just off 70) if ever up this way. Alternatively, do you have a membership at GGC? Whatever, you'll have a wonderful time in Africa. Enjoy.
