If you had only one rifle and one cartridge to hunt from Cape buffalo up to elephant, which cartridge would you choose?

You missed a very important one that a lot of hunters use on every thing - the .458Win Mag !

The biggest caliber I can shot well and accurately, is my 416 - and I'm confident I would well covered for those big 3.
Sure, bigger would be better, but a good 416 bullet is capable of great results.
(I dubt I will have the chance, just buffalos in my plans, but you'll never know...)

Yes, sorry, you're right... Since I can't change the poll anymore, let's vote with the .458 Lott.

.470.. But you should include .458Win. and .600 (as long as you listed .577..).

Unfortunately, only 10 choices possible - I suggest people voting for 458 Win Mag to select 458 Lott, and the ones seclecting 600NE to cast the vote for 577NE

The .458 Lott ! I own a rifle in this caliber and I think I shoot it very well, so it's the key of the success.

I voted for 416 because i shot an ele with it.
This does not mean others are bad choices.

I would choose the .500NE, because I love the cartridge.
But realistically, the .416 Rigby would be the ultimate all rounder for DG.

I'll carry my CZ458 Lott after all of them all day long every day.
5 in the mag and with the red dot setup, I have I will give a go up to 150 meters on buffalo not that I wantt to but the setup is capable.

Have shot all the rounds listed and like others said the 458WM, 450NE, and 458B&M would also be viable along with a number of other's in this power band.
Having said that get the one you shoot best from .416-.620 and go hunt the big guys.

No voting option for 450 Rigby but won’t do much that the 416 can’t

The cartridge I would WANT would be a 458LOTT, however the largest I can currently shoot accurately is the 416RM. The only one on the list that I currently own is the 375H&H, so that's the one I'd be taking until I level up.

Xpedition Archery USED Scrapeline390X Sniper Gray Crossbow XACW1001 - Light Wear - Needs Bolt/Arrow Guide Spring UA5689

If it is in a decent shape, would you be willing to sell it for $100 shipped? IS it missing the retention spring that goes over the bolt?
Thank you Ferenc

Good morning John, I just read your setup procedure for the northstar duplicator ator. I found it very hand and I did learn some things. I have the same machine and I am having a problem i can not figure out and was hoping you could shed some light on the subject.
