so asking for facts and asking why your opinion matters is childish?

color me surprised at your response..

I refuted your opinion of gloom and doom and presented facts (tesla stock up, inflation not occuring at high rates, etc etc).. I can add more if you like... interest rates are coming down... unemployment largely stable..

where yours and what substantiates them other than you think something to be true therefore it is lacks any fact to support them...

"recent polls"... ok... what polls? "I heard".. ok.. from whom...

my opinion is that yours doesnt matter to the typical american... you arent an American, lack an American perspective, and the things you point to such as economic downfall simply have not occured...

whether you value my opinion of yours is inconsequential to me.. again.. I have presented facts (you are in fact not an American and lack American perspective.. and none of the gloom and doom being preached has had any seen impact)..

you on the otherhand have not...
Well if you want polls...

And see my other post above, you know exactly how well Trump is performing in special elections and state elections.

And Tesla and the stock market I have never made a comment on. Their success does not refute anything I have suggested. Inflation is coming up on double the Fed goal, and is hitting consumers noticeably:

You are welcome to point me to my predictions of economic downfall if you can find them. I don't think you can.

Of course they are outperforming Harris! Unless they are challenging her to a drinking contest!

From the lower part of that article:
"And part of the strong numbers comes from comparing candidates to Harris, who did worse in 2024 than down-ballot Democrats on the same ballot. "

And of course the losing party almost always sees improvements, because they are energized.
The thing that worries me is the lazy Trump voters that may not come out in the mid-terms, that is the biggest concern in my opinion.

There are also very specific shifts away from Republicans amongst, blacks, educated voters and Hispanics (who tend Catholic).

How big was Trump's margin against a historically bad campaign again? Who do you think will be the majority in Congress after November?

Canada and Europe, and the rest of the world are changing, in ways that will not work well for the United States, or the Western alliance in general in the long term. Trump missed his opportunity to manage that change properly. Had he been forceful but stable and rational, and added some carrot to his stick, he could have done a great deal of good. Now Europe and Canada and finishing free trade deals with India, and China are licking their chops over the parts of the world Trump treats like shit. What do you think all of those African countries are doing now that Trump has treated them poorly?

Perhaps I have misunderstood this post and others...

If Europe and Canada are finishing free trade deals with India.. and China is licking its chops...

And the world is changing and it will not work well for the United States..

If you arent predicting a negative effect on the US economy... what exactly is it you are predicting?

Polls?

September 18, 2024

Swing State Poll 2024: Pennsylvania, Michigan, Wisconsin: Harris Ahead In 2 Key Battleground States, 3rd State Up For Grabs, Quinnipiac University Poll Finds; U.S. Senate Races: Democrats Have Leads In All 3 States

PENNSYLVANIA: Harris 51%, Trump 45%, Stein 1%, Oliver 1%

MICHIGAN: Harris 50%, Trump 45%, Stein 2%

WISCONSIN: Harris 48%, Trump 47%, Stein 1%

How did those turn out?

AJ

Well if you want polls...

What that article doesnt acknowledge is that EVERY president in modern history has hit their polling low between the 1st and 2nd year in office..

Obama dropped from a 68% approval rating to 44% by 2010..
Trump started at 45% and dropped to his low of 35% during his first term in 2017
Biden started at 57% and dropped to his low of 41% in 2022

And now Trump, who started at 47% is now at 34% in mid 2026...

It also doesnt take into account that since 1949, congress has shifted away from the Presidents party 18 out of 20 times during the mid terms..

Since 1862 90% of mid term elections result in the sitting presidents party losing seats in congress, regardless of their popularity...

the last time the Presidents party gained seats during the mid terms was 2002, right on the heals of 9/11..

Losing seats or even control of one or both chambers during the mid terms is hardly a "message" on US satisfaction with Trump.. its actually the status quo, and archtypecal of the American voting public...

That was one of my points...

By what standard is each nation being judged/graded? and is that the standard that most would agree is more accurate and reflective of the question being asked?

There are lies, big fat lies and then there are statistics. When you only show the statistical results, without how the analysis was performed, how and to whom the questions were asked, etc etc. statistics are at best useless, at worst completely showing you the wrong conclusion.

I’ll stick to the easily observable metric of which country everyone seems to want to immigrate to. That can’t be such a bad place.

Don McMillan has some good insights on statistics on YouTube.

Here is the most recent Trump election results. Looks damn good to me. He hasn't had to run another election since, and we still get 2.5 more years!

In Europe unless one does well in Secondary school, one is prohibited from being accepted in to "free" universities. In the States one can go to a community college and do well there and get into a university or joint the military and get in after.

So, I'd say USA has more social mobility.

In reference to income equality I assume you mean excessive taxing like Sweden etc., where success is punished.

True!.

When this said its in the end about the individual achievement. Two ex I know of is study of medicin and civilengineering. Even though both educations are offered for "free" they both have pre-intrance tests even though you may have scored top results in the 4 year college science degree. Only the best get accepted(some may fail later). If you have the head its not the cost of the education that will become the obstacle. Because the educations are free to some points( one still pay to live on campus, books, fieldtrips etc) the University have semestertests to examine whether you can go to next level. One may fail a semester once but not twice. The students have to complete wihin a norminated time otherwise out!.
Yes things are for free but one has to deliver.

In regards to all this "tax" we here in Denmark, Sweden and other eu countries are subjected to it would help if you watched this american here living in Germany. She cuts things down to the penny the differencies between the US and Europe good or bad from both sides.

If you are going to be using an offensive ethnic slur might as well be accurate. Iranians are Persians not Arabs who happen to be stuck on our side in this war against Iran.
lol.....did i offend your delicate sensibilities?

What is on top of the Mullahs and clerics heads?.....a rag.
I have no problem insulting terrorists

Did you ever despise "rag Heads" enough to go to war with them yourself or just enough to simply hurl insults on a forum about hunting in Africa which lacks consequences.

Hello,

Am I reading your post correctly to say that the Tsavo rifle will be coming out with a composite stock later this year? I ask because I had been looking very hard for a Tsavo, but if there is going to be a composite stock model I will wait for that.

Thank you for your time,

Andrew

Saw your post. Nice. Denver too. Genesee area (just off 70) if ever up this way. Alternatively, do you have a membership at GGC? Whatever, you'll have a wonderful time in Africa. Enjoy.
