It’s important to know that Catholic Charities was one of the largest beneficiaries of bringing illegals into America. The Catholic Church was paid hundreds of millions by the American taxpayer to settle illegals in America. They were paid hundreds of millions by tax payers through NGO’s to feed and transport illegals on their trips to America.

The Chicago Pope was one of the largest beneficiaries of this free flow of funds. Trump shut off an important inflow of capital to the Catholic Church in America. I would give more credence to the Pope’s position and statements if he wasn’t a beneficiary of the system Trump shut down.

I’m a millennial and most of my circle have lived with the knowledge that it will not be there.. or worth anything if it is. I view it as a bs tax with no return and go about my day. I told my best friend use it as an incentive to make enough money that you hit the cap (184k this year) and don’t have to pay it any more on your income after that.

Given you're livelihood of representing child sex abuse victims, how do you weigh the good of the hospital work with the systemic practice of protecting pedophiles from prosecution as well as moving them around the world to help evade prosecution?

This man "Father Olly" was moved multiple times after allegations, was convicted, sentenced to prison and freed..... He still collects a pension from the Catholic church, because if he would have testified against the church it would have been the last coffin nail.

You can have different views on a subject but you're right this is just anti Catholic bigotry it really disappoints me of a lot of members that they act this way. I'm a deeply religious Catholic and conservative and this is really disappointing.

The intent of my post was not to lay the blame on the Catholic Church. Just to show the Pope has a conflict of interest with Trump and those conflicts should be taken into consideration while reading the statements made by both parties.
